Im confused....again....

Why is he pictured in Amazing in a movie style suit in Febuary but not in January?

Nah, im with ya. Just curious why'd they make a NEW Goblin when they havent even really wrapped up the storyline with the LAST Goblin....he's still at large, whereabouts unknown...

Anyone considering the idea that this Menace isn't a new goblin at all?....that he's Norman Osborn?......obviously Norman couldn't don the old Goblin garb..everyone knows who he is...and he's clearly losing it over at Thunderbolts...just a thought

That's just how Salvador chose to draw it. I've read that he's more inspired by the movies than the other artists working on BND.



Not sure that I like that color shceme to Menace's suit. The Ultimate Friends arc in USM is looking good too so I should be picking up most of the books in Febuary. And it should be good to see Looter again. He's one of my favorite underrated villains out there.

I'm looking forward to it as well.... especially when I hear them talking about sub-plots, and an on-going soap-opera storytelling feel that was always at the heart of great Spidey stories...

I'm also looking forward to BND. I know that the creative teams are well qualified to bring back some of the spirit of Spidey that has been missing.And I also think that this New Goblin may be an Old Goblin in a new costume.Time will tell.

WEEEEEEeeeeelllll.... Shipping amazing 3 times a month is something that one tam of artist and writer can't do. SSSOOOOOooooooo there are 3 artists and 3 writers. Over the year, (and a half,) the collaborations of writers and artists will keep switching.

One of the artists; Salvador Larroca is very psyched about it, (he loves to draw Spidey,) and all of his editors really dig his 'movie,' look for the book.

Love the cover to Amazing Spider-Man 551. Salvador is a great artist and one of my favorites, I can't wait to pick up the issue and see the movie suit of Spider-Man inside, and I'm also really excited to pick up Spider-Man: With Great Power.

A) How they seem to have gotten there
B) The lack of the marriage (supposedly)
C) Mj= crappy new superhero,
I'm looking forward to
A) What seems to be a good supporting cast that actually affects the book
B) Peter being free
C) New villains
D) The happier not wow- life- sucks- Aunt- May- is- dying- again- and- Gwen- had- Goblin- babies- while- life- sucked- a- lot- and-still- does mentality
E) The classic(ish) suit
F) (tying in w/ D) the brighter look to the art

and so on.

I'm looking forward to BND. It will be my first start as a fan of the comics (beside's the few I have read as a kid and the one's Im gonna read on my cd (just read Amazing 50-60)).

Same here.

I truly hope that "BND" can bring back some of that old Spidey spirit as well. The 616 Spider-verse has no direction at the moment. It's almost as if Marvel doesn't know what they want for the character. We're going from "The Other" to Civil War to "Back in Black" to "OMD".

I just wish we could get a simple story arc of "Goodguy vs. Villain" or some kind of stability. I'm tired of all these events.

Or maybe a Jackel? I'm still witing to see what the REAL Dr. Miles Warren and the REAL Gwen Stacy he kidnapped are up to...

Of course, that was a clone of himself that he mixed in Jackel DNA with... a green herring that spun off many a false front. Gwen has spent almost 10 years as his captive now... waiting for Pete to rescue her...

Yeh.....it's feels like light years between current issues of Spidey right now...however, "One More Delay" isn't much of anything special anyway...that delay it is experiencing now magnifies how bad this agenda really is. Although, I am still holding out hope they are not just furthering the anti-marrige agenda when we FINALLY get to read the END of it...sheesh.

Anyway...just got the BIB hardcover tpb and reading that again....not bad overall, but the stingers still bother me...a lot.

I liked these issues, but it still also hits me as ABSURD that spidey would whine about how UNMASKING was a DUMB MISTAKE and how he has lost his life and endangered everyone he knows...

I mean...this is stuff he ALREADY KNEW before he unmasked and KNEW over the years of continuity...

Otherwise...I'll be reading a lot of back tpb's...(With all these delays that are SO ACCEPTABLE these days...) ANd especially if they axe the marriage like i know they will.

I miss the days of Bags and other artists that kicked butt and did in on time to boot!!

I'm a stickler for loose ends in that I hate the freaking things ...if they're not going to retcon Sins Past to hell.....then I personally wouldn't mind seeing Gabrielle coming back.....just so we can stick a freaking glider through the back of his head!!
