Ugh, all of those things needn't ever be mentioned again. I threw up in my mouth a little bit just now.

Who's the clone? Pete? Ben? YOU? Somebody call Franklin Richards and kick them all to another reality.

What I don't understand is how your name is "Make Mine Marvel" yet you prefer a watered-down version of what we could potentially have.

I like Marvel. From Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems to my Invisible Woman Nike Air Force Ones idc about politics. They'll all cross over in a secret wars event next decade so stop worrying

No, they won't. Fox has a vice grip on the rights to the X-men and the FF, we won't see any sort of cross over between the two so long as Fox has those characters in their stable. And it's a damn shame, because Doom and the Silver Surfer in the MCU would be absolutely incredible.

:hehe:
I own most of the Clone saga and occasionally revisit it just to remember how much of a train wreck it was.

Fox and Sony wouldn't even consider doing a crossover with Marvel unless they got a massive amount of cash and rights out of it. We'll never see them unless they sold the rights back to Marvel.

The X-Men want to fight The Avengers. Disney just needs to split profits for The Ultimate Showdown on Battleworld.

Why don’t these companies come together? Why isn’t it possible?’ Because personally, I would love to mix it up with Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man and kick his ass. It’d be great. (laughs) There you go. There’s your quote. (Laughs)

James McAvoy

"I would like to see us fight them, though. I'd like us not to team up,"

"I'd like to see us fight them and, you know, annihilate them, as we surely would.

"Be like, 'Hey, Robert Downey. Oh, here you go. There's your ass.' 'Sorry, I've got a bunch of asses in my hand. I think they belong to you Avengers?'"

“It’s good that ‘X-Men’s’ finally coming out so we can raise the bar again this year,”

“Those guys are good, but this is where it starts.”

“There’s like 40 of us, and like five of them,” McAvoy explained. “And one of them’s a half-man half-robot: you just turn off the power and he’s done.”

“Another one’s a guy with a shield who’s a bit strong. I mean, come on,” McAvoy said. “Guy with a bow and arrow? We’ve got guns and stuff, [Wolverine's] got claws. I could just go like ‘sit down,’ and they’ll all sit down… I could be like ‘take your clothes off, and they’d all be taking their clothes off.’

“It would be a disaster.”

“I would love it. I would love it. I personally have close ties to Marvel because of Kevin Feige, because Kevin worked for me. But to take our characters and mingle them in the way that they were written, yeah, absolutely,” she said.

“And maybe at some point, I don’t know maybe give years down the line – and this is me speaking very unofficial here – but maybe you’ll get studios doing deals with each other and crossing certain characters over. Maybe all the studios get together and do a massive event movie. And I think you don’t want to see that too much. I like the idea of them all being little self-sustaining things that when they do come together it should be special

Let's settle this on the big screen. Screw studio wars

I get that a lot of folks want it to happen, but the bigwigs in the suits who call the shots and don't care at all about anything other than the bottom line are going to be what'll stop it from coming into fruition.

I don't see how this benefits Marvel. They already have two superhero team up franchises that are more popular than the X Men, and over the next few years they'll be adding additional franchises in the Inhumans and Defenders. Marvel will have dozens of superheroes to play with, and mixing and matching them will be much more profitable then paying FOX to crossover with their one box office draw, Jackman's Wolverine.

See that's why X-Men stay in Westchester you Manhattan heroes don't wanna fight for real. LoL

Want to see how difficult it is for these studios to come together look no further than Sony and Disney. And that's just for one freaking character of Spiderman.

I just want to see this happen.

Since the choice is only one then F4. It legit was my favorite Marvel property growing up because of it's huge integration with the greater Marvel Universe. They're the heart and soul of the company IMO way before The Avengers, Spidey, Hulk or The X-Men. I think one of the biggest things that keeps me away from the Marvel Studios movies is the lack of FF and of course not giving the Hulk a proper solo movie.
This, minus The FF being the No.1 franchise in that line.

Oh, and I don't want symbiotes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is an overuse of symbiotes in Spider-Man adaptions to other media.

Hey, I have that Toy Fare. Spoilers, Xavier shoots himself at the end. :awesome:

Stop ruining everything. :argh:

I have most of the Toyfares collections too. :D I miss that magazine. :(

Haha, I have exactly two Toy Fares, and one happens to be that one. Those Mego comics were awesome.

I would love to see an adaptation of the black suit Spider-Man story that starts with Secret Wars. I think other versions have done a good job (some better than others) of introducing it without that story and some of those elements could be incorporated too, but I do think it would be fun to see it in action as well.

Well I guess we can all shut up about this then. :D

I'd still rather have had the FF back. :p

Fantastic Four, Spiderman is awesome and can add a ton to the MCU but I want my damn Silver Surfer done right. SS is my favorite hero and they ruined him in Rise :(

I am thinking PIV 2022ish or so. There is little chance the reboot garners a sequel.

It's kind of redundant now but I would've preferred F4 first since:

a) Sony really let Spider-man's stock plummet as far as movies go and as a result don't really wanna see him again anytime soon.
b) F4 has a much larger character and rogue gallery that could significantly increase the MCU.
c) The current 4stic reboot is looking worse than any of the last 3 Spider-man films made by Sony. Therefore continuing the trend of Marvels first family being a complete joke.
d) No one really cares about Fox's lame last minute attempt at keeping up with Marvel with the proposed crossover between Fox-men and 4stic.

Easy for you to say....

Millar and Donner were the main ones begging because they were the ones at the bottom of the totem pole. And since Sony has now let Marvel control the ship moving forward it looks like Fox is back at the bottom again.

The only deal I'd be on board with is X-men T.V. rights in exchange for F4 and none of that adding Fox-men and 4stic into the MCU. CLEAN REVERT ONLY! Otherwise let Donner and Millar continue to dream....

Still want FF over Spidey. Haven't changed my mind about that.
