The white spider suit has grown on me. But I'm still going to use the traditional suit right off the bat if I can.

I prefer the game have different variations of the original costume from different eras in comics,movies and shows. I'd love the Ditko, Romita SR, Mcfarlane, Animated Series and Raimi suit.

Just saw the trailer and the 3erd per order suit and the ps4 pro bundle. I thought we might get a bundle so not to surprised. I would like to get it but I really showed just wait for ps5 being that I already have a ps4 dont have the best job and ps5 most likely only being like a year maybe 2 from comming out. The trailer was good man this game's graphics look great. The 3erd per order suit I am not sure what to make. Did we get any gameplay/interviews today to? Are we going to get any more the next few days of comic con? Really though after e3 I think I have enough news so either way not a big deal if we get much more news.

The limited edition artbook in the center you need to buy yourself. The standard one on the right comes with the collector's edition.

Wasn't gonna watch the trailer but gave in immediately lmao. Looks great. At this point I think I'm the most curious to see where exactly the story goes more than anything else. It looks like a genuinely good modern take on Spider-Man.

The one piece of dialogue I don't get is 'We've got costumed nut-jobs roaming the city', if he's been Spider-Man for years, he'd already know about them, he's announcing this in the trailer as if it was new 'news'.

Same, only RDR II has any level of similar to the anticipation, but for me, this is GAME of the year.

Honestly Peter dying is the last thing I think we have to worry about for a while.

If Miles ever enters these games as a Spider-person (assuming we make it past game 1), I see both of them in the game. Maybe that will have Insomniac introduce a co-op mode? Maybe Miles will be akin to Catwoman in Arkham City (i.e. one or two story missions and the option for free roam after you beat the game)

The fear of Miles REPLACING Peter I think is misplaced.

Anyway I know the trailer's were shown so I won't bother with that part. (with the exception of the europe one)But I'm putting up this article. I like what they said about Spider man & partner ships.

The latest updates from San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games released the story and Velocity Suit reveal trailers, and announced a PlayStation 4 Pro limited edition bundle for Marvel’s Spider-Man at San Diego Comic-Con 2018.


The story trailer features a first look at anti-hero Silver Sable, as well as a first listen at Norman Osborn speaking. As mayor, Norman Osborn is willing to take no risks during his re-election bid. He hires Silver Sable and her mercenary organization to restore order to the city, which includes stopping someone he believes is contributing to the mayhem: Spider-Man.

One of the themes of Marvel’s Spider-Man is partnerships, and the trailer shows a small glimpse that Spider-Man is greater with help from his friends in a quick look at Spider-Man, MJ, and Miles Morales together for the first time.


In addition to the trailer, Insomniac Games confirmed new cast members. Joining Yuri Lowenthal as Spider-Man are Stephen Oyoung as Mister Negative / Martin Li, and Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson.
The third suit in the “Spider Suit Pack” pre-order bonus is the Velocity Suit, which is an original suit created for the game by acclaimed comic book artist and film character designer Adi Granov. It joins the previously announced Spider-Punk suit and Iron Spider suit (inspired by Marvel Studios’ The Avengers: Infinity War). For users who do not pre-order, all three suits can be earned by playing the game.




The PlayStation 4 Pro limited edition will include an “Amazing Red” 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro console featuring the Marvel’s Spider-Man spider, a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, Marvel’s Spider-Man game on Blu-ray disc, and digital content for $399.99 USD (MSRP) / $499.99 CAD. In Europe, Sony will also release a standard PlayStation 4 limited edition alongside several bundles. Read more here.

I'm no a fan of the villian designs. Silver Sable and Scorpion could look better. Electro looks ok but he could have the mask.

Yeah, the villain designs could be better. Nearly all of them have bright, glowing lights on them. Rhino's eyes are lit up. Scorpions tail is lit up. Vulture has green lights on him. Sable seems to have loose, dangling coat tails which are totally impractical.

On the plus side, I'm happy that each villain is very close to their original 616 concept. Rhino is a giant guy in armor, rather than an actual rhino hybrid or a man inside a robot. Vulture looks like an old man in a bird suit, rather than Michael Keaton with an airplane on his back. I'm glad about that.

I think Rhino looks great but I don't like the blue eyes. Red would look better:

My current theory on the story is....

Peter works for Oscorp as a lab assistant and his boss is Otto, Norman Osborn is funding the Sinister Six, Otto came to him with the proposition of eliminating Spider-Man with his idea of building a team of super villains. Norman agrees due to his agenda as Mayor to get rid of vigilantes like Spider-Man, perhaps Otto's also not a fan of vigilantes?

So when we get to the Raft part from the E3 trailer that is the first time we see the team assembling with their new gear courtesy of Oscorp with Otto most likely building the suits for the team using the tech and money Osborn provided. I'm just trying to figure out how Mr Negative becomes involved, my best guess is that he wants to take over Kingpin's territory now that he's in prison, evident from the E3 2017 gameplay where his henchmen claim that Fisk's territory is theirs now to one of his employees. Norman must have promised to help him take it over with funding for that as well.

For this year yeah Red Dead and Spidey are my most anticipated. I’m gonna spend so much time on them. Next one I’m looking forward to immensely is next year Last of Us II.

I think they said that Peter is 23 years old in this game, so he's been Spider-Man for about 8 years.
