Also really enjoying the learning curve. At first I was kinda getting my butt handed to me in fights but then when you start integrating more gadgets, dodges, air stuff, web stuff, jumping around, it all makes you feel like you've got it under control. I'm 40% through so far, I only just got past the E3 2017 mission with the Demons.

Was doing lots of unlocking towers, small crimes, collected all 55 backpacks already (!!), spent most of my time swinging around though which turns out to be a ton of fun actually, the traversal gives you options where you can just go at it simple or you can get real fancy jumping off of walls and rooftops and parkour action all around, it's a delight. The character work is superb though, Peter is spot on and I love the small focus of some of those missions. My favorite so far is probably the department of sanitation one, it's just such a Spidey thing and the way Peter goes about all of it with Aunt May was real sweet. Enjoying the relationship with his mentor as well, anxious to see where it goes. Super satisfied thus far!

So I finally got a tracking update from bb on my spiderman collectors edition pre order that was suppose to come today got the update about a hour ago. It is in WI I live in CA so yeah not getting the game today. Says I should get it by end of Tuesday. Still have not gotten preorder codes yet. Now I am thinking about seeing if a friend would want to buy thee game off me so I could like just go to best buy tonight and get the game so I dont have to wait for it to come Tuesday and not be able to really play it un till next Friday.

Loving the hell out of this game so far. However, I have a question:

How does one use the pre-order codes? I have a physical copy of the game, and the codes are on the receipt. Where does one enter these?

Excuse the noobish question - I don't get to game a lot but I feel like I'll be playing this quite a bit.

I'm really loving the mentor relationship between Otto and Peter. Some genuine chemistry between them. I'm getting a sense that the story is going to be the origin and rise of Doc Ock.

Yes! I'm absolutely loving the mentor relationship as well. I can't wait to see how they make the turn in his origin story for this game's universe. I'm so glad I avoided the spoilers for this character.

when Peter was talking on the phone near the beginning of the game and he said Doc, I thought for sure he was referring to Connors. What a surprise.

Since Amazon didnt ship my copy until Thursday evening they shipped it UPS Next Day Air at no extra cost. It was waiting outside my door when I woke up today.

I love Amazon Prime...most of the time. This being one of those times.

Has anyone else been alternating suits practically every other mission? I like so many of them that I can't stick with just one between the main suit for this game, the Classic suit, Homecoming, and Iron Spider.

Oh sweet lawd almighty. I've died and gone to gaming heaven. Just played my first 40-50 mins and got Kingpin back in the Raft and been to lab and helped out. Still learning navigation and button sequences for the 'ideal' conclusion to certain scenario's of both combat & traversal, and being as kack handed as I knew I would be but it's insane how good this game is, frickenn' loving it. Now got to swing by the police station. At this point are their any side missions I'm missing out or not completing or is it story mode only at this point and wait to be told/registered on HUD ?
