Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

We will see GOTY nominations I think will be GOW, Spiderman, smash, RD2. Those are the 4 games I think it will come down to.

I would add the next Hitman game (out Nov) into the mix as well, if it's as good as the 2016 re-launch.

So trying to kill time un till the game comes out I have been able to beat 2 ratchet games that where in my backlot ratchet guest for booty and the very first ratchet game. I have now beaten 6 ratchet games. I got into the franchise late crack in time was the first one I had played before. I still own 2 I have not beaten and that is the 2nd and 3erd ones on the ps3 HD collection. I started the 2nd one a while back but was not that far now I just started playing it again last night. The ratchet games are so much fun one of my top 5 favorite video game franchise. Having beaten 6 of them the only franchise I have beaten more games from is Zelda having beaten 8.

Didn't even now there was a new hitman game comming out I dont know a lot about those games though. But yeah I do think this will get a nomination even if it dont win it. Batman Arkham city got a lot of award nominations including GOTY.

For me, the 3 that are my 'essential's are Hitman, RDR II and Spider-Man but SM I can see being my 'go to' in terms of sheer 'fun' for years to come, I'm just so excited for it, it looks & (feels from all the footage to date) of all that we've wanted from a Spidey game since the opportunity in gaming to be Spidey came about.

Then we have (I hope) L/O/U II on the horizon next year.

Yeah, I think Marvel overestimates how popular Miles is. They keep putting him in stuff, but I haven't heard anybody really clamoring for more Miles.

Honestly if it isn't Parker I don't want it. Miles just does not interest me and his suit is terrible. At least Ben Reilly had a good suit.

  • No suits from the Raimi movies or Webb movies. Really bummed about no Raimi suit but there's all 3 MCU suits because it's the shiny current product they want to push but come on... is it so hard to ask? It's literally a Sony game. The Raimi suit made it in to Activision's first Amazing Spider-Man movie game. Don't forget the past because it's not new and shiny anymore...
  • No Miles suit, no symbiote black suit.
  • The Ultimate comics wrestling suit is indeed an unlockable.
  • Peter Parker wearing a plastic mask is a suit it seems.
  • All 4 of the Identity Crisis suits

Genuinely gutted no Raimi suits, without his films, there would be nothing of the accessibility to Spider-Man that exists in contemporary times. Missed opportunity to pay thanks to that trilogy.

Bryan I. loves Tom the most in the role, so I guess that kinda influenced the decision of film suits to be included. With the presence of the classic suit as it is though, I can see more reason for excluding previous film suits.

As for the Miles suit, no reason for Pete to wear it with Miles being present in the game.

What? They put stupid Spider-Punk and that Secret War suit in this game but Raimi isn't? Is this a joke? I'm excited for this game but that just kills so much respect for me.

My most prioritized suit is the NOIR one, since I loved it the most in the last game. I'll just thank the group behind this game for being nice to me in that department.

Another thing that pisses me off is how the developers praised Spider-Man 2 the game left and right and said that was their inspiration for this game and how that it was their favorite. To not include the Raimi suit is just... disrespectful. It is easily one of the biggest parts of Spidey history. Bigger than Homecoming.

Listen, this game looks amazing. I'm stoked. But some of us fans hold things dear. To say there are nearly 30 suits in the game, and to put some really obscure ones in there (Secret Wars suit) and to exclude some of the bigger ones in history, is kind of lame.

Do we have a full list of what suits on in the game? Maybe the rami one and amazing spiderman 2 ones are in there just have not been shown/talked about yet? I would be pretty surprised if they where not in there. With how many suits on in the game I would think those being in there would be like a given + with how big rami spiderman was even more so spiderman 2 was it got to be in there. A lot of people considered spiderman 2 the best spiderman game and also spiderman 2 movie is still one of the best CBM ever and spiderman 3 had crazy hype and spiderman 1 was big and like before we got like 4 CBM a year.
