Most of these suits are these silly looking modern ones that deviate so far from the source it comes off stupid looking. I was hoping for more like a Bagley Spidey, or McFarlane, Ross, Ditko, 70's Hammond Spider-Man or Ultimate Spidet-Man (back when it was good) type stuff on top of the Raimi suits. And do not give me the "those are similar enough to the classic suit you get in the game" because the most certainly are not. Any fan can tell the difference in a second and it is fun for us to play using the suits we hold dear. Also it'd be cool if those suits didn't have moving eyes.

Spider-Punk, that silly glowing logo Spidey that Ross has been doing, and all these ones I can't even name or care enough to remember are just a sad waste for me. I'm sure the game will be great but man, the suit selection is pretty disappointing right now. Hopefully the DLC adds Raimi's and some others.

Totally agree. I don't want to sound like too much of a whiner yet as more could come as DLC, but this initial free list is disappointing. I was really hoping for a bunch of variations of the original look as done by many of the iconic artists in the comics throughout the years.

I'll definitely get a lot of usage with what looks like it might be

Yeah I don't really accept that either. There's a world of difference between your Raimi suit, and the classic Spidey outfit, they may follow the same style, but the eyes, webbing, emblem all different enough to be included.

Chill out people. The Nolan and Burton Batman suits were not initially in Arkham Knight. They added them later as DLC. Most likely will be the same type of situation here.

Exactly. No need to be raging about it now. If it isn’t added down the line in DLC then okay rage away haha.

I don't think it requires a tag but I guess if people don't want to have any clue of the game length, they said it was [blackout]20 hours long on the default difficulty.[/blackout]

In that case, I'll be getting around 50 hours out of it, I am shocking at games.

people complaining about the suit selection. i knew this would happen. it happened with every arkham game. there is only so much they can put in the game. DLC will definenlty add more.

by all means vent. the raimi suit is fine but it doesnt bother me that its not there. i believe they are thinking that they dont want to put too much of the a simial type.

Honestly, [BLACKOUT]20 hours[/BLACKOUT] is pretty good! I think that God of War for PS4 was supposed to be around [BLACKOUT]25[/BLACKOUT] hours without doing all of the side quests. Sounds like this will be pretty similar.

With an open world game like Spider-Man, I imagine there is a LOT to explore around the city.

Like the previous movie suits, people are on the Homecoming suit bandwagon. There are those who genuinely love it but give it a few years for the next suit and there will be a lot of trash talk about it. Happened with Raimi and Nolan too. I love the suit but to me, it is inferior. The webbing not being dark enough and flat really makes it hard to see at distances and it doesn't pop. I think the colors don't look as good as Raimi's either. The chest spider is a good design but it is really small, and it is a bit more techy looking than spiders we are used too. I think the lines on the blue are a bit distracting. So are the webshooters. Plus the added black and designs.
I still think Raimi's is the more faithful one. I love the MCU suit, don't get me wrong. My only hope now is some movie skin pack that has all the Raimi suits and Webb suits (which I don't care about, but some do so let them have it)

For me, bar the original 60's suit, the Raimi suit (particularly those in 1&2) are utter perfection and should be included (in some capacity) in the game.

I do not care about Reilly but this suit has always been neat to me and I also thought it would be in there. I just can't believe that stupid Spider-Punk suit is.

I don't care too much about the suits, personally. I do wish we were getting the Raimi suit, but in the long run it won't matter that much to me. I care a lot more about the story and the gameplay.

Agreed, substance is huge in a game like this and more choice regards suit or aesthetics, whilst wonderful, I want a great playing game first and foremost.

I broke down and looked at the leaked pic of the suits.

I gotta be honest, that is quite a disappointing list. I could go either way with regard to the Raimi suit but I'd much rather have that over some of the garbage suits that are currently in the list. It might be added with DLC so we'll have to wait and see. I think I should mention though don't be so quick to blame insomniac...this might be a case where Sony is being stubborn.

Going back to the suit list...I see those crappy All New All Different suits are in there...then I remember, Dan Slott is one of the contributors for this game. Ugh. No wonder. Oh and look there's a shirtless suit--I have a feeling it might be that abomination of an outfit known as the web diaper. If it is, seriously, f**k you Dan Slott.

Ultimate webhead that 20 hours is just for the story with out the side stuff and I am not posting any thing that is like spoliers so if I post it you can known it will be safe. I am staying away from that type of stuff really felt like I new enough after e3 heck really after game informer.

I appreciate the info bud. And 20 hours just for the story is excellent. I can see myself getting at least double that or maybe more for 100% completion.

It is somewhat annoying to think back to interviews with the developer when he would say stuff like "and he would build another one of Spidey's suits in game and ask can we put that in too?" and stuff like that. I can see both sides of the argument. New game, new suits, makes sense. But the reason so many of those classic, iconic and popular suits are in the older games is because of those things. To not have them in this game, the first true AAA Spidey game baffles me. Several of the suits on the list only remind me of some of the worst storytelling in Spider-Man's history.

This absolutely does not ruin the game for me but I am upset over the current options.

Yeah. I completely agree. New doesn't equal better and I was also expecting more classic choices. There's too many suits from Slott's awful run.
