A couple more pics of the mystery lead villain, and one of another villain I'm not sure people knew was in the game, or at least I didn't;

He's been known for a while now, but certainly another fantastic design from Insomniac.

I'm so happy about the mystery lead though, everything I've seen looks fantastic. My favorite Spidey villain (seemingly) taking center stage in his AAA debut could not be scripted more perfectly for me.

I'd love to see Sandman, Hobgoblin, Green Goblin, Venom (just don't make him or Green Goblin big stupid monsters), Mysterio and maybe Lizard. Or some lesser ones like Vermin, Jackal, Beetle, etc.

Only put this in spoilers so people who do not know the villains in the first aren't spoiled on finding out who is NOT in it.

I just realized this game comes out on a Friday, whereas nearly every game ever comes out on a Tuesday. Smart move, I mean most people have weekends off. Get off of work, buy the game, enjoy.

Oh no... This whole time I've been thinking it comes out on Saturday...

I work all afternoon on Friday and then go back in at 4:30am on Saturday.. I thought I could just pick it up after work on Saturday and play.

I will probably avoid most of the posts here, and just come back later, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if New Game+ only resets the story.

In Arkham Knight, you still had to do some of the side quests like destroy bases and the frickin annoying riddler bases for example, I'm not sure if in God of War, # of the ravens you kill carry over.

If anyone has an answer specifically for this game, Spoiler Free hopefully, please quote me with your response. This would determine my playstyle through my original run, whether that's just focusing on story mostly then just go with the flow in NG+. Thank you!

I think Venom(sigh) and Green Goblin are sure to be front and center in the sequel(s), the former is way too popular and the latter is Spidey's true nemesis together with Ock. I also want Lizard, Sandman, mysterio,Chameleon and Kraven to show up. Oh, and I really want to team-up with Daredevil, since apparently the novel confirms he exists in this universe.



BTW I LOVE that you can choose to swing like that, with Spidey raising his arm just to shoot web after web and depending on when you press R2, without constantly doing acrobatics before you can shoot another web. Really sells the idea of swinging instead of fake flying lol. No spoilers, it's just swinging in the Velocity suit.



Jesus I could listen this all day... are we getting the best media portrayal of Spider-Man since 2008's The Spectacular Spider-Man? I really feel like we are.

The swing mechanics sound so good and it looks brilliant, complex skill to make it look really fluid.

The music we've heard from John Paesano so far is also really good, I've been listening to that a lot getting more hyped. If the rest of it is on that level I may have to buy the Mondo vinyl record.

I saw that video with the 1-handed swinging yesterday. If you listen closely you can hear the inputs he's doing on the controller. Sounds insane. So cool. I think they've succeeded in making a deep system that allows the player to make choices about how they prefer to play. Want to swing about with ease? No problem. Want a challenge? Don't worry we got that too.

What's funny is at the end of the video you can see a guy in a suit standing on top of a hot dog vendor umbrella. But what makes it funny is he has an uncanny resemblance to Sam Raimi.

The theme music is great. It certainly does remind me of DD.

And I'm super excited for The Heist DLC. I love me some Black Cat.
