Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

I did my first Hammerhead base, I died 3 times.

maxresdefault.jpg

Those ****ing gatling gun brutes and the laser shield enemies, the battlefield becomes too chaotic. I ended having to use damn near every gadget, something I don't like doing, I'm a pure web gadget elitist.

Was very disappointed when I played the ending of Turf Wars and got a glitch in the final cutscene where there were invisible goons firing at Spider-Man the entire duration of the ending... which really devalued the dramatic events unfolding in said cutscene.

Turf Wars was more fun otherwise but did anyone else have so many issues with the game's performance in this? It's all been totally fine up til Turf Wars for me. All the damn enemies with crazy guns and jetpacks on screen at the same time really hit the frame rate.

I'm getting a lot of anxiety about the Raimi suit knowing there is only one DLC with 3 skins left.

Don't let me down, Insomniac.

I wish Insomniac had a season 2 planned for DLC, I like the idea of 3 stories all connected. I could use a lot more.

I hope Insomniac rethink the DLC massively moving forward. This strategy of quick, small bursts has been nice for my impatience but is ultimately pretty disappointing. I'd rather wait and pay a higher premium for a more substantial expansion with more end-game.

Those Hammerhead fronts are super annoying and tough.

The brutes in general are such a pain. Especially on the harder difficulties. They move so fast when throwing their punches and can block Spidey's punches. So stupid. When I'm attacking them I rarely use the finishers. I either use web bombs, electric webs or the suspension matrix...those are the most effective gadgets imo. The matrix is great cause they are just hanging there and you do more damage in the air. I'd also recommend using either the electric punch or concusive blast suit powers. Electric punch is obvious and with the concusive power not only can't they block your punches but each hit sends them flying back.

That's a bit upsetting. I'm not playing the dlc until after they're all released but I'll keep this in mind and follow up once I do.

There's still a chance we will get more content after these DLCs are released. Maybe not more story but they could potentially add more suits.

Additional suits I can definitely see. Fairly low effort and there's a bunch still to choose from. I doubt Insomniac accounted for the demand for the Raimi suit, and also doubt that much of this DLC is truly post-launch, so I reckon a a suit-pack down the line is its best chance.

Pretty sure Insomniac stated a few months ago that December would mark the end of support for the game. So after Silver Lining, I think then it becomes the wait for the sequel.

That's going to be one long wait lol. Hopefully we get the avengers reveal soon.

After fighting an armored Hammerhead in the DLC (and it was a cool fight), I'm not expecting Silvermane to be a boss anymore.

I just hope we do get a new villain for the last DLC. And that they don't forget about Black Cat and show us what became of her.

It's sad to see what happened to Yuri and what she will probably become. She had the best chemestry with Spidey, out of all the characters. That's one interaction I'll be missing in the sequel.

I'm not quite ready to assume anything yet. But if yuri follows what she became in the comics in a sense there could be some cool interaction.

The only reason why I could see them adding more DLC suits even if they're just on their own without any additional content is that the count for all suits in the game including the secret ESU suit and the upcoming three with the Silver Lining DLC is at 37. All "Clerks" references aside, 37 seems like an arbitrary number of suits. You would think they'd round up and give us a solid 40.

On the matter of suits, I saw today that Spider-Cop is canon in the Spider-Geddon event that is happening. Also a Spider-T-Rex and some others, but specially the cop. I love that they've done that and I'd gladly play with that suit in the game.

I don't have this obsession that some have over the Raimi suit. I like it, but I'm eager to try new stuff and Spider-Cop looks funny enough.

I don't want 'funny' suits. I hope we don't get Spider-cop, but it wouldn't surprise me. Of the 30+ suits we have, I only like 10 of them. The extras just hurt the quality of the collection. Ben Reily is an obvious choice.

I want a Stan/Ditko era suit with web pits, black/red color and matching back/chest symbol. They can set it apart further by giving it different eyes, different webs and a more slender build. The Manga suit isn't for me, but it demonstrates how much they can actually alter the shape of Spidey's body.

I want all kinds of suits. Certainly not just funny.
I want awesome looking suits. I want to looks badass, or mysterious, or completely out of place, or stylish, mean, strong, eerie, weird, or any other thing you imagine. I want to also look funny in one or two suits. Spider-Cop does that just fine. They have the freedom to look ridiculous (just please, not as much as the naked Spider).

What I like from the suit selection in this game is that they provide what I just mentioned. There are suits for all tastes and the classics are still there. I unlocked the Mangaverse suit last so unfortunately there's no much use for it right now, but I intend to use it as soon as the next DLC starts.

Something I just saw made me think that one of the last suits could be Ultimate Spider-Man. Cel-Shaded and with the same proportions. There are other suits I want to see before that but I wouldn't be opposed either.

Only two years? Absolutely not.
Specially if we're expecting at least the same level of quality. I'd say end of 2021 as the earliest.

Honestly, the suit wouldn't be enough for me, after seeing how beautiful the two cel shaded suits look in motion in the game, I want a full game done in the cel shaded style, they could create a ridiculously beautiful comic book style game with today's tech, and at this point graphics are crisp enough that the game's appearance would basically never age.
