Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

If they pad out the villian roster by making them all have "Symbiote" forms, I'll not be happy. That will be the biggest cop-out I have ever seen.

Why don't they ever use some of the lesser known villians for Spider-Man games?

I would love to fight Jack-o-Lantern or Molten Man.

A-Freakin Men!! I don't want to fight, lets say for example, symbiote stilt-man, or Jack-o-Lantern. I want to fight them in their prime, human form.

Hmm. The cut scenes from the video weren't all that great (which is a fairly big disappointment, as I was expecting epic cinematics to fit along with the epic story) but combat still looks oh so fun.

But yeah, this better not be one of those games where reviews don't come out until after the game has been released. That happens every so often with certain games... it always raises a red flag for me.

Haha you summed that clip up perfectly. Sucks though cause it seems like they played it safe and went for card board cut out character voices. Spider-Man's annoys me already. Even Maguire's was more tolerable than what ive heard from this new game. Also the repetitive comments during the battles will get old real quick for me. Combat does look nice though.

Yes it is. And the cutscenes might be lame, but that combat looks to sweet to be passed up. I just wish someone could have this type of combat, and a mature storyline like God of War. Instead we get OH NOOOOOSSS, SYMBIOTES!!!!

PLEASE watch the G4 videos I posted that are from the complete version of the game. it looks much better than in the youtube vids I posted.

Plus there is some swinging shown.

I think the game looks rather fantastic, and I'm more interested in this one than when Spider-Man 3 was being released. So far the first two were great, and 3 was their only real misstep.

Come next month, I'll probably pick this up when I get my 360....pending reviews and thoughts from you guys.

so i flipped through the strat guide today because we got them in and it disappointed me because its so thin...and there really doesnt appear to be that many marvel heroes and villains init at all...

at least all they listed in the book was spidey, venom, luke cage, moon knight, electro, vulture, black cat, mary jane(of course), rhino, and kingpin
