Ugh, I hated the super jumping venom from USM. Heres hoping if he does become playable, he uses his suit as a web substitute i.e tendril swinging. Thats the closest to web swinging I can think of without it being web swinging... maybe Im being too hopeful

If it isn't better than I will be dissapointed. The only great thing about sm2 was the swinging, the story, graphics, and combat just sucked. WOS getting 3 of 4 will be fine with me.

I didnt mind the combat of SM2. Thought it suited the play style but I agree, the graphics were sucky in some places. Althought the scope and detail of the city was awesome.

After watching some more vids of WOS, Ive gotta say its shaping up to be 10x better than SM2. Combat looks fluid and like Spideys fighting style, the graphics are awesome, story looks interesting. Just hope its got alot of reply value and that the story mode is a good 10 hours plus ride. Cant wait to play it!

Thats a bit lame, why wouldnt they put a character like that in the real versions of the game? Maybe he doesnt have that much to do?

Im guessing they are going down the "Eddie Brock with Mac Gargans Suit" road. Which is a bit lame. Looking at one of the vids though, some of the enimies look like the Anti-Venom from the New Ways To Die storyline going on at the mo. So maybe Eddie isn't Venom... guess we will just have to wait until the games out

What's with Lego Batman?

The DS version of the game got some exclusive characters that the other versions did not get, like Firefly, Mr. Zsasz, Ventriloquist, and Hugo Strange, among others. Also, other "unlockable" characters in the console versions like Azrael, Huntress, and Black Mask are actually unlockable in the DS, not forced to build them.

That rant aside, screenshots look cool. But Electro's mask still looks stupid.

Iv always loved Electro but hated his dorky looking costume. I mean the mask with the bolts coming out of it looks ridiculous. Still ,I'm glad to see hes in the game.

That new trailer sold the main monster for me. It looked more menacing than in the still image. Electro is rockin his old school outfit, so I'm always pleased to see that.

Overall, the trailer was worth the watch, and I'm counting the days.
