Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

Hey, nobody loves alternate costumes in a Spidey game as much as I do. But I'll trade them off in a heartbeat for a solid Spider-Man game. We are getting his top 2 suits anyways, each with their own powers and morality. So there's little room for complaint in this game so far. Besides, just because they have no plans for DLC now doesn't mean they never will.

Hell, if nothing else, they brought back the Web Yo-Yo. I'm sold.

and from what i have heard it is a very solid game. i hear the controls are really tight. only bad thing is the camera during wall combat...but i didnt hear it was terrible. just needs a bit more work.

True. PS2/PSP versions are side-scrollers.

yessir, but they haven't said what is is though.
good thing is that im glad they FINALLY realized the wii is STILL a next-gen console. giving fans a ps2 port with motion controls is just plain lazy.

Side-scroller for PS2, now that's just lazy. They could've at least used SM2's gameplay, simply with Web of Shadows content.

Now THIS they have no excuse for. alot of complaints from developers is that he's difficult to implement into gameplay. well now they have a perfect system that compliments his abilities and they don't include him. WTH!

whats even worse is that Steven blum (who voices wolverine in the game.) does an AWESOME green goblin voice. (he plays him on the new animated series)

matter of fact i hear (dont quote me) ALOT of the major villains from Spidey's rouge's gallery didnt make the cut.

on the bright side we'll be able to ride rhino like a skateboard.

Ugh... not really a fan of that Rhino. First, he's way too tall. Second, his face looked kinda boyish. Third, he runs on all four. Fourth, I simply don't like the design.

How could he be difficult to implement? The game is full of generic GG flying villians, and they couldn't add in the main hover board baddie? it doesn't make sense.

Honestly, Rhino I'm tired of...he seems to be in almost every Spidey title they do.

Electro is a plus though.

On the plus side, the DS game looks fun, and I might pick it ups. It looks alot like the really fun Sega CD Spider-Man game.

yea its a TOTAL cop out. I hope they at least make a good reference to him and give a reason WHY he's not in. a guy with the strategy guide claims [BLACKOUT]All major characters revealed now are the only ones in the game. [/BLACKOUT]

lol they are keeping the ps2 TOTALLY underwraps. currently there is NO footage for it. which most likely means they want people to buy thinking its the same as the next gen stuff. they dont want consumers to be discourage by seeing ugly gameplay (if it is ugly) this all happened with sm3 wii/ps2/psp.

its E10 unlike the next gen console versions. its also being made by another company, Amaze entertainment.
