hmmm i think i said I got Marvel ultimate Alliance a day before the review came out. it got a good score.

the bourne conspiracy did pretty good. got that game about 3 days before I saw a review.

Dragonball z budokai tenkaichi 3 saw a review like a week or 2 later after i bought the game on my bday....

late reviews dont always reflect the games scores.

although with that said,
Hulk and Iron man were terrible....but i effectively skipped out on those and i am a big fan of both. especially when i saw the upgrades you could add to his armor.

Im pretty good at telling when the depth in gameplay just isnt there. i'll be picking this game up, i've seen enough things to make me happy.

No, not necesarily but often times publishers will hold off on giving game sites the games to review if they know the game isnt shaping up too good for fear of early reviews impacting sales. The reason the previous Spider-man games got late reviews was bc they were movie tie-ins and they didnt want early spoilers leaked. This game doesnt have that problem, so I would have expected to read something by now. I hope the game is good, but Im not putting too much faith in it,especially considering who's developing it. I wouldnt be surprised if it averages around the 6 or 7 mark

Really? I know people have the strat guide but I haven't seen it talked about anywhere. I'm scared to go to the official forums (to make a vast understatement, the people there are idiots) but maybe I'll forage in and spoil myself so I can see if my fears are confirmed or not.

Yeah even if it it gets a score like that i'm gonna make sure and find out which parts the game did well/not so well. Crappy story i'm ok with. I just really really want a decent camera(heres looking at you SM3) and a fun combat system. A

but check this out. some guy on the official WOS boards got a leaked copy. He says its REALLY good. he said the camera is better, but the wall combat camera is a little rough.

Don't go looking on gamespot. The ending is spoiled....and I'm pretty sure you don't want that.

The official site isn't that bad for spoilers actually. some guy got it and he's giving his thoughts and answering questions now. He's really impressed with the gameplay.

what good games has Shaba made before? My only experience with them was Tony Hawk Project 8 for the PS2 which was a crappy port of the PS3 version.

Im sure hoping that guy is right about the leaked copy bc I really want this game to be great. Spidey games as of late have been dissapointing and they cant get any worse. Im hoping that WoS can redeem the Spidey game franchise which has gone downhill since its awesomeness during the PS1 era

Some are unlisted....like I recall a dev saying they worked on the Marvel Ultimate Alliance character expansion packs. (Heroes/villains)

A nice little coincidence is that Neversoft was pretty much in the same spot when they developed Spider-man for the PSX. (Known for Skateboarding games)

That game is still highly appreciated by fans. Here's hoping that lightning will strike twice.

Oh nice, I just figured that guy from seizecontrol forums was BSing. The city doesn't look all that great (maybe it's just the bad aftertaste from Spider-Man 3 talking) but sounds like a very solid game from what he's described so far.

But man, I only have the cash for two games next week... Web of Shadows, Fable II, and Guitar Hero World Tour are all coming out. Maybe GH will have to wait until Christmas.

Hope the dude gives out some more details soon.

I thought so as well, because at first he said the game starts out with a cut scene about the invasion like the one in the launch trailer. but we all just misunderstood him. he just meant it that the game references the end before it starts. kind of like your playing a flashback.

Never played the first Fable, and I typically hate RPGs. But Fable II looks so very creative and different than standard RPG fare that I think I'd really enjoy it.

I'm getting WOS for the PS3. I used to have a 360 but I sold it because of the red light scare.

Technically fable is not an RPG. you really don't realize it when you play it. It just has certain RPG elements like leveling up your characters powers. your character ages from young boy to middle aged (grey hair) throughout the course of the game. its a great experiance.

your appearance depends on your moral allignment. you can make bad choices and good choices. like when you go into peoples houses (like any other old school rpg) and take something out, thats considered stealing. and you can kill almost ANY NPC in the game.

i loved sm2 like everyone else, and i played sm3 on the wii, it did what i wanted it to, which was let me have some fun. all i am really looking for. i will follow this games story, though.

So far I've heard some REALLY good things from people who received leaked copies.

I really think this game is going to be a hit. of course your going to have fans that will STILL say SM2 is the best. but oh well. I know the villains involved aren't all fan favorites and were already used in past games for the most part, but as like as they are unique you've got no real complaints from me.

I'm just glad Electro made it in.

@ Shonkie, well I guess its in character for her. I recall there was a time she beat up the chameleon with a baseball bat. plus she has had formal training from Cap. America.....so yea.
