Splinter Cell: ConViction

Yea there were a few missions that i absolutely loved, but at the same time there were missions i hated and that had never happened to me with this franchise. I had always loved every mission. I do hope Conviction is set up the same way tho, with each mission separated so you can go back and replay your favorite sections of the game.

My favorite level is still the CIA level in the original game. WOW.

Is that the very first level of the original game? That level is awesome.

No, the first level in the original is the one where you sneak around the town and end up in the morgue looking for the dead agents.

I think my favorite mission was in Chaos Theory, where you rescue the pilots who crashed in the plane.

In Saigon right? Yeah that was fun. I like any levels where you're stuck in a war zone and **** is going down.

I generally hate those levels. I'm a f***ing spy, not a soldier. I should be worrying about how to maneuver security guards around so I can sneak in, assassinate some dude, and disappear like I was never there, not about catching shrapnel from a stray grenade or whatever. They break down to basically the same gameplay, but I don't like them on a conceptual level.

Hmm, I remember an office building in the first game that seemed like it could be CIA HQ. But maybe I'm remembering it from the demo. It's been a long time since I played the first game.

Well, Sam is a soldier. And a spy.

I liked the warzone level, it was fun. And serves well to throw us a curve and get us out of the comfort zone of just waiting. I think overusing the concept is a danger, but mashing that level into a game that has the wait in the shadows gameplay works for me.

I actually liked the warzone level in Double Agent, too. I think it helps get the blood boiling just because of the atmosphere.

Yeah, it was CIA HQ. I think it was like the third level or something, but yeah you do break into the CIA HQ.

I only vaguely remember the first game. I remember that level, a village in the middle of a jungle, an oil rig level that you had to climb a lot of pipes in, and a foreign embassy building.

I'm lovin it. The faster flow to the gameplay looks awesome.

Nothing short of amazing. This looks amazing. The gameplay looks just fantastic.

Wow, that new video is badass. The CQC slow motion segments are pretty badass.

And good ol' Ironside. :word:

Thought these images were pretty neat:

Heh, I hope he steals the goggles from one of the guys who are after him. That would be funny. :hehe:

South Korea...after the north has stormed across the DMZ....I'm not in love with that level, but I do like it because it is different...

Chaos Theory is still the best game in the series to this point

I'm happy they went back to the green eyes.

I think along with his former hobo look, they tried sneaking blue eyes along with it, if I remember correctly.

Looking good.

I can't wait for this game. I just hope that there is one level all i need is one. Where Sam puts back on the suit and gets down in the classic way. That would be the highlight of the game for me.
