First I was gonna say old....but after reading that and seeing that pic, Im wonderin if indeed Sandman was involved in Unlce Ben's murder

That doesn't make sense. This isn't the ghost of Uncle Ben Peter sees, it's his own conscience in the form of Uncle Ben. It's not really Uncle Ben at all.

Well there were rumors a month or so back saying it was actually Sandman that killed Uncle Ben, so...yea

this could be a dream peter has because the symbiote is screwing with him that much. Maybe sandman is a good guy, but peter is so screwed up and the symbiote is making him think that sandman is really the one who killed his dam.


I dont know, its purley speculation. We cant really confirm any of that right now.

Yeah, hopefully if Sandman is involved with Uncle Ben's Death in any way it will be only imagined by Peter. If Sandy really killed him, it would cheapen movie one and two three times over.

Probably a hallucination, similar to that one scene in Ultimate Spider-Man --- the symbiote makes Spidey more and more aggressive against a villain (Sandman) by making him hallucinate that it was actually Sandman that killed Uncle Ben.... I think the carjacker being there is so they can sort of alternate the scene between the hallucination and the real event as it actually happened (with the carjacker), and sort of flip back and forth to show the conflict going on in Peter's head.

Of course it's a dream - what, you think Ben is suddenly back from the dead?
There's already a precedent for dreams about Ben, this one is just going to have a little more symbolic imagery in it.

People say it spits over the face of the first film... I think it's an interesting twist... afterall SPidey thought he killed the real killer so why wouldn't he become SPiderman... I guess we should hope he is just the driver to the old killer just for respect but I really wouldn't care either way... I knew there had to be something major to connect all the threads of the previous flicks... Flint/sandman was th emost random villain... but I knew there had to be a deeper connection than him just soley being a crook... this is it... and I kinda like it
