So, after years and years of Marvel staying under the radar, relegated to releasing free cell phone games, they're finally making an aggressive move back into console gaming. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and this new Square Enix thing is Marvel laying the gauntlet DOWN B****!

I am so excited for this. I have been craving for a new AAA Marvel console game for years now. I hope it's an action RPG.

Yo Leo, sup? I'm the one you seek. Ok here's the deal, I do head to the mavel heroes forums alot and made buddies playing the game from start and went to talk to the dev's specificlly. I've in as game tester and founder who bought the game and had been looking into this game since the time I was on the x-menfan mutatis mutandis as both a Mod and reporter and info comic guy.

After I left that to do pro gaming and became game tester as job for a bit while studing to be dev my self I had been fallowing this game since inception

and from that time when a good lot of the gamer news outlets asked the dev's especially mr David Brevick who made diablo and this game if this was coming to consoles they said yes they will make it for pc first and that will ether make for consoles or they'd just port it.


since then they have made nearly all controllers from console ps3-ps4 xbox one and steam controllers workable with it

And in the most recent months gamer news out let Massively which is known for both MMO's and now RPG's in general of late had this below.
As the article said they took it of the mh forums and had been secretive of late. when in other times they would tell us in both live streams or on the forum, they had talks and are thinking of how to implement it and to have it for as many platforms as possible.

It’s easy to get carried away based on circumstantial evidence when speculating about the future. Players have been suspecting that Marvel Heroes might be making plans to port over to consoles, but there’s been little real evidence.

Skills are getting more simplified, sure, but they had gotten overcomplicated. Only one skill tray to use? That could just be a UI cleanup. Simpler systems? Again, fighting against overcomplication! Code snippets in the official game referring to the PlayStation?

All right, that one does probably mean something.




Yes, careful fan examination has revealed a few tags in the game’s client that point toward various PlayStation 4-specific functions, which may very well be the smoking gun necessary to support this particular theory; combined with several other elements that could be pointing toward a console port (and the fact that discussion about it has been deleted from the forums), and everything lines up rather nicely. Obviously, nothing has been formally announced or confirmed, so it all remains well within the realm of speculation, but it’s now well within the realm of plausible speculation with supporting evidence.

since then there have had major update and they made them event sayin it's thair biggest update ever and changed alot of game play mechanic's be sides adding best have work done to bring black bolt medusa jubilation lee as team and both nick fury senor(<<Ehanced costume ) and jr playable.



the thing is now they are inrepair mode with updates to make fun again. there are complain with their biggest update ever. so alot of patch's have been happening but most of the updates seem to be pointing to consol port and use.

And I'm sure the dev's of Marvel Heroes will announce it for console's when they know it's ready. and only when it's ready.

I hope they don't just use the avengers cast from the movies though.

It's pretty much assured they will. The teaser alone indicates that. Plus they made a point of saying they're going for a global audience, and American comic books aren't popular in most countries. They know Marvel because of movies.

I doubt movie characters will be the ONLY ones featured but they probably will be at the forefront.

I kinda doubt that. I got the sense that its about them returning. As cool as the new characters can be, there's still much that can be done with the classics.
You can bank on the movies rosters being in this. Imo.

I actually suspect the girl talking in the trailer may be Kamala Khan. Just my theory though.

The ideal playable characters for this are the ones that got a solo mcu movie and the others that joined the Avengers in the films.

That's kind of boring. One thing I've absolutely hated under Disney (though they have gradually been moving away from it) was demanding that the Avengers in all media be those 6 Avengers and those 6 alone, give or take maybe a few additions. It's why I had such a hard time getting into the stupid Avengers Assemble show.

So while the movie Avengers will definitely be the selling point I hope the studio reaches beyond that a bit.

These games are not MCU related, they are all original stories,same for Spidey. Better this way imo.

The gauntlet isn't laid down yet. The games have to deliver first. It definitely looks like they took their time with getting these set up. So it looks like they are more focused on getting the best game possible rather than just license out their properties to any and every company.

Yeah glad they aren't rushing this out. Good to have the announcement and now I'm prepared to wait for them to take their time to produce top quality games that can build a foundation for the future. Square-Enix isnt having their Japanese RPG team make this. Its their western studios that make Tomb Raider and Deus Ex

The six that for the last few years Disney has designated the face of the franchise. I like them but there needs to be some choices beyond them. Just like I like burgers but wouldn't want to eat them for every meal.

I know what you mean but like as if those 6 aren't gonna be present. That's like doing a big X-Men game without Rogue, Iceman and Colossus.

And I didn't say that they need to solely focus on those six, since there are the other characters that already got a movie and some will get a solo novie soon. Go back to my older post and I specifically said that the trailer should have teased more characters other than the big four that its not 2012 when the first movie just came out and I wasn't suggesting those to be Hawkeye and BlackWidow.
