seriously, I'm just baffled how hundreds of people at Crystal Dynamics, dozens at Marvel Games and Marvel Entertainment, all saw this and thought it looked good... although Marvel did sign off on those ugly-ass MvC infinite designs too, so maybe everyone who works at Marvel Games is legally blind? Idk, it's all I can come up with...

This is what's bothering me as much as anything. The E3 coliseum draped in Avengers banners signaling the 2 + year wait is finally over. The closing game of Squares conference in a coveted time slot. Do these clowns actually think people waited for this?

I would like a game as good as say the Arkham series for Batman with the Avengers. Absolutely 100%. But I am also less picky overall when it comes to games. I don't play tons of video games. Rarely get time, so there is only a handful of IPs I follow. Superhero games, old school Nintendo, or things like Kingdom Hearts end up being mostly what I play. But even if this trailer was not amazing, I am still going to give the game a try. Hopefully the actual gameplay is amazing.

At this point it is. Things can change for sure but I certainly wouldn't bet on it being dramatic. I'm quickly losing faith in Rosemann and his crew. It's just not good enough, simple as that.

I guess I have different standards because I just don't see it. There's a difference between bad graphics and bad designs. I would say the designs are off, but he graphics don't look any worse than Spiderman PS4.

Ok bad designs, sure. The overall look (and quality of banter) I find to be offputting (and I get nowhere near that feeling I had when I saw Spider-man PS4 for the first time), whatever the underlying reason. I'm glad you like it though and hope you enjoy the game.

I don't know what engine they are using here, but it reminds me of Mass Effect Andromeda or Anthem. Where everyone looks weirdly made of clay. If you compare it to two recent Square Enix games like Kingdom Hearts 3 or VII Remake, the graphics don't compare. They look a lot better then this.

I think Square Enix could make a great Avengers game. The problem is they are busy making Final Fantasy. So Crystal Dynamics made the game.

Luminous hasn't really worked out. Unreal Engine 4 has give us the gorgeous Kingdom Hearts 3 and VII Remake.

I assume that's because he was mopy for 5 years after Cap died. Hopefully he gets a haircut once the Avengers are re-assembled.

The one thing I liked was the conversation with Bruce and Tony. It gave off a tone for the game I want. The hair is just symbolic.

Nope. One of the issues with these games was trying to make them with Luminous. Scrapping it is why we are even seeing these games in the next decade. Using it for XV is why it is unfinished.

FFVII looks like a proper AAA game. Avengers looks...Cheap. I should have known I wasn't going to like this when they revealed the A logo and it didn't look right
