Square Enix's Avengers

Marvel Games Descends Upon San Diego Comic-Con 2019 With Heroic Line-Up | News | Marvel

Cool! They're going to be at SDCC! I hope there's game play this time. I really doubt they'll want to drop the ball and leave fans unhappy.

Gameplay and more info about the story and villains.
we'll see we have to remember the people at game informer mentioned this was in pre alpha still. it'll be nice if this was made playable to the public as well gamer news media . but I'm betting it'll be the same demo as the gamer news site reporters got with maybe few new stages. we won't see any thing majort til next year.

I am already worried that the only thing listed there is "Marvel Games: Marvel’s Avengers Signing". No "Let's Play Live" or anything.

it's not the only game listed actually ther Ultimate alliance 3 & the Iron man VR game

Marvel Entertainment announced their plans for San Diego Comic-Con this month and amongt he many panels will be one dedicated to Marvel Games.

Scheduled for Hall H at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, the Marvel Games Panel will provide an inside look at some of the highly anticipated Marvel titles. This includes a sneak peek at new content for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Marvel's Iron Man VR, and Marvel's Avengers. Marvel also teased "many unannounced surprises and panel exclusives."

In addition to the panel, there will be booth demos and photo opportunities for all three games, along with live discussions and signings with the voice actors and developers behind each game.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will presumably have a pretty large presence at SDCC as it's slated to release on July 19. The game was shown off at great length during E3, during which it was announced that it will have an expansion pass featuring DLC inspired by Marvel Knights, X-Men, andFantastic Four.

Iron Man VR was revealed earlier this year and will be released for PlayStation VR later in 2019.

Fans will likely be most interested in Marvel's Avengers, the upcoming multiplayer action-adventure game from Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics. The game was finally unveiled at E3, but received mixed reception from fans. All sorts of details regarding skillt rees, gear customization, microtransactions, and DLC have been talked about since, but San Diego Comic-Con will give Marvel Games another chance to sell fans on the blockbuster title. Marvel's Avengers is due out on May 15, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.

Prior to that.

Connected or not, I hope Spidey is added to the game

That Iron Man game would have been exciting to me if it plays like Spider-Man PS4, but VR and first person perspective? Eh.

Yeah same, I would have loved a great iron man game honestly without vr. Can’t afford it

To me, personally since I have blurry eyes, Vr is just not a good idea for gaming experience. Also someone gave me a vr head piece (not for ps4) before for my phone and I think I used it twice. Not really into vr. Also that could give you serious headaches.

Yeah I played a little bit of it for Skyrim and it was cool for a bit but I got a little sick feeling and honestly it took so long to strap into it and out of it

I think you have make an adjustment to the settings of the vr and the strap the thing perfectly into your head, to get no headaches/weird feelings and of course not everyone would know that from the get go. Its just not convenient as sitting in the couch and staring at the screen that isnt so up into your face.

I also hate First person perspective in videogames, always makes me confused of the character's direction.

I really really hate first person in Elder Scrolls. Its **** and always has been and severely limits the combat animations. Compare Geralt's combat animations in Witcher 3 to the simplistic ugly hack hack hack of Skyrim.

I like having the option of both. I mostly go third person but first person is cool at times in small doses

But the janky combat system is the series staple. #NotMyElderScrolls

Eh, It'll be leaked on youtube and there will be impressions articles online.

For me, it works when using a sniper rifle or when I am aiming at something. But I definitely don't want to run, swim, fly, change clothes of the playable characters and not see the playable character's body in motion.

This game is an easy "buy when available for $30 or less" for me ATM. Closer to "never buy at all" or "finally get Arkham Knight" status, tbh.

same that's why I'm looking forward to that gun grave game that offers both modes. also I have repeat that most of the games have done first person or virtual reality have added mode where you play in mode like third to first like the game the evil with in or the V game star trek Brigde Crew which allowed to play that latter with out VR.

Having beaten Spider-Man in a month and waiting almost a year for the price of it to drop to pick it up. I think i can do that with Avengers, unless I really don't have anything to play during its release month.

Indeed, thanks for reminding me. I beat Spider-Man by renting it from Redbox a few times and just going nuts over a 5 day period. Definitely plan on buying the GOTY version with all the DLC one day.

Avengers will have to wow me in the 2nd "reveal" to change my mind. So far it looks like a PS3 game on steroids. Maybe it'll take 20 development studios working in concert before the game looks decent.

SDCC could go a long way to helping me recover from the gut punch I received from E3. I've completely lost my enthusiasm for following this game and am looking at SDCC as a make or break event for me in terms of investment. Hopefully I'm surprised.

Don't be so dramatic! Just wait for the game to be out and hope for good results. There will be tons of impressions and preview articles by release day along with trailers including gameplay. Read a ton of reviews if you care about them and watch some livestreams or youtube videos.

No footage yet, but someone at reddit posted a picture of Black Widow, and she looks much better. ,(not that I complained about the other look)

Apparently the footage will be released at Gamescon.
