Stan Lee wants ANOTHER Hulk reboot?

It would be kinda disruptive to reboot Hulk since LL's Hulk is already part of the Marvel film crossover project.

I get that feeling as well.

I get that feeling too.... It probably doesn't help that half the people that give me this feeling didn't even bother watching TIH. After all, everyone I know that has seen TIH, enjoyed it quite a bit.

The Hulk movies could work the way the Hulk comics worked, at first (in the old Stan Lee comics) they didn't really know what to do.
Hulk would changed at night in the moonlight, then later he changed when he used a ray on himself. Then this other thing.
So the Hulk films can evolve as well.

The name of this thread should be changed - no where that I can find has Stan asked for another Hulk "reboot" - he wants to see another Hulk movie, but says nothing about a "reboot!"

q: Are there any marvel films you'd like to see rebooted?
Lee: Maybe the hulk a little bit.
.

There was nothing wrong with the last Hulk movie other than it could have had a bigger and longer fight at the end. Hulk doesn't need a reboot.

Neither does DD in my opinion. I never did understand why people disliked DD so much. I thought it was a pretty good movie.

The only Marvel movie from the past 10+ years that I would redo would be X-Men 3. That movie just made no sense IMO. You just don't kill off half the heroes of the movie.

Well they could have a sort of sequel/reboot, that still uses the story that TIH went on, but completely changing the feel of the film, much like ghost rider is doing

I think some of you are using excuses to say because of ang lee's hulk TIH didn't do as well.

I don't think the movie standing on its own was anything amazing or necesarillly an improvement or "better" than HULK. If it was a movie the public was really going to get into it would have built upon good word of mouth. Its drop off week to week were almost identical to the first hulk.

I just don't think there is a big public demand to see the hulk front a whole movie. The fact that noth grosses were nearly identical show that maybe that's the max you can get out of the hulk.

ps I put forth the opinion in another thread that i think ang's hulk will hold up better in the publics mind over the years than TIH.

The Norton movie was great, no changes needed for me except maybe one.
We got this in the first movie:

Then this in Norton's:

I would like to see Hulk look like this:

Hulk-12.jpg

Hulk-24.jpg

Hulk-46.jpg

I'd like to see him look like a big inhuman (including his face) monster. More like Kirby's version. It would also make him look scarier.

yeah, and something like that could work into the story they have already established. Just give some quick explanation about his Hulk looking different, something like further mutating or something.
One sentence.

In the comic Hulk changed all the time, even before they established it as Bruce getting angry.

Please, no Franken-Hulk/moe haircut version in any cinematic appearances. Why confuse people any more than they already are...If you put that kind of Hulk into the Avengers now no one will understand what's going on. Especially, if Banner is absent.

NO one will be confused if you change the look of the Hulk in the Avengers to what he should have looked like all the time.

"That big green hulk looks a little different [better] than the last big green hulk I saw in a movie, I wonder if they are the same character?"

They had a design for the "moe" Hulk, but some one thought the long haired version is what the "fans" would want to see - where do they get these guys?

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one...

The previous movies have established that the Hulk is more human and better looking, but I don't think it would be too confusing for the audience.
I think making him look more monstrous might even make the movies more successful. Maybe him looking more human and eye friendly may have made him look friendlier and heroic but he lost something. Sort of.

That's the Hulk I'd love to see in a Hulk movie.

sorry artistsean, but that second picture looks way too goofy to be taken seriously :p

I'm pretty happy with the design we got in TIH.
