yea both names are used in comics and all that. They probably changed the name on any samples they were able to get after eskine death/from cap with testing, and to protect eskine work change name. I dont know how it is from the comics though.

Seriously, the Thor cast might be more impressive in the Oscar/Shakespearean way, but Cap's cast I think is more sneaky good. All the actors picked fit their roles nicely, and are great actors. Adding Stanley Tucci is never a bad thing

I think Cap's going to surprise people and be awesome. I have really good feelings about this film (which I don't get from X-Men: First Class or the Spidey reboot).

Now we just need the Invaders.

Nope, it used his original unoriginal name of Dr. Reinstein.

Co-sign. Tucci is an amazing actor, and the brief glimpses of Erskine with Steve that we got in the teaser got me even more excited for this movie! If that was possible.

It looks like he'll have a lovely fatherly dynamic with Rogers... before the inevitable happens.

I wonder if they'll explain why Erskine never kept notes so that if something happened to him they could continue the research. Maybe the notes were just destroyed in the chaos, or ruined by Kluger on purpose or perhaps Doctor Erskine just never kept notes because of a character quirk (like his mind moved to fast to write things down or maybe he was a bit arrogant or paranoid.)
