Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought. However, I'm sure if they threw enough money at him he would. Or if the script was good enough. I mean, he came back for Indy 4...and it wasn't like that script was amazing.

True but i think he actually still likes the Indy character.

Honestly I think there are fans that know Star Wars better than him. lol. Just like there are Tolkien fans that know it better than him. Trust me this is more than enough time.
Well to each their own, i personally dont think so, but it's just my opinion. There's fans who THINK their ideas are better though, i'll give u that (and they make me cringe lol).

So, what do you guys think the odds are on getting Harrison back for the new films?
I dont think there's much of a chance, but hey, Han's my second favorite character from SW, so if they managed to get him back and it's a good story for the character, i'd be thrilled.

I'd kill for a Han Solo cameo, but ultimately I'd love an entirely different story set in the Star Wars universe. Maybe even something that doesn't focus on the Jedi (blasphemous, I know). There's so many places for them to take the story. I'm very excited.

My dream to see an aged badass Jedi Master Luke Skywalker are coming true.

I think as supposedly the last trilogy to "complete the saga" I think it should focus around the Skywalkers, and have other films focusing on other areas of the Star Wars universe.

I want better more acrobatic and dynamic lightsaber duels. Here is hoping they hire a decent choreographer. ROTS duel had some of the most boring sword fight choreography ive ever seen. It didnt even look like they were trying to hit each others body they just kept whacking each others swords over and over and over.

Ya the choreography was not natural, in Episode I there was many times where you could tell Ewan was waiting for a move to go down before he strikes. It was always too choreographed. I hope for better ones too.

Idk if you saw this but do you remember the trailer for the The Old Republic game? The one when the sith infiltrate the temple? The jedi master and his apprentice are fighting the sith lord. That is how i expect a superhuman jedi to move. The films never came close. Due to obvious limitations it may be hard to due on film but they should strive to make jedi move in ways that are beyond human capabilities and use force powers in a fight. No jedi should just whack away at his opponents sword.

I really enjoyed the arc.

One thing I hope CW will eventually answer in a flashback episode---how exactly did Maul survive his fate in Episode 1 and arrive to his seclusion on Lotho Minor (is that correct, or else just go with the Junk World...).

So...this thread just exploded. The Clone Wars TV series should really have it's own thread.

I'm pretty sure they touched upon how Maul survived, something about getting sucked into an air vent and then someone found him? I forget the exact details, but they explained it early on. It'd be neat to see though!

Ya, I agree. I think what's most important in future duels, is like ESB, make them have substance, the villain should be threatening in more ways then physical. And honestly have more banter between them.

I agree, as we have discussed many times there is a certain delusion among the fanboy set with their scripts and fics etc....but as for time to make the movie, from all the reports it seems the film is most likely well along and could even be shooting by next summer, leaving two full years for post production, more than enough time.

While I think the Lightsaber action is great in all of the movies bar ANH, I agree that the cinematic you are talking about is where this next trilogy should be looking to raise the bar to.

I still need to watch the Clone Wars. I had no idea Maul survived.

Episode III was ten times better than ROTJ ever was.

NO WAY IN HELL WAS EPISODE III EVEN CLOSE TO AS GOOD AS JEDI! The emotion on the Death Star between Vader and Luke, and the son realizing he is becoming the father was more emotion than the entire prequel trilogy had in all three films.

TARGET has an exclusive DVD where they took the 4 episode arc about him and recut it into a movie.

That sound horrible, why can't we have something natural like what we had in Empire or Jedi. Luke was pretty much just whacking away at Vader but it looked like an actual struggle, not to mention the idea was that Jedi tried to avoid fighting. You didn't see Ben Kenobi flipping around the death star he used the force to make his way around unseen and Luke was kicking plenty of ass on Jabbbas barge without being a superhuman.

As for people asking about the fate of The Clone Wars cartoon: Before the series was produced Lucas always spoke about it being around 100 episodes and 5 seasons long. It has reached that point.
CN greenlighted Season 6 I believe...I figure they have a contract with the network that Disney now owns, so I figure they are probably going to either buy that out or let it go whatever is worked out already. If the show ends or moves to Disney, they really need to start wrapping up sotrylines. At least CN allows for TV-PG material, something I feel Disney wouldn't let fly on their entworks. That said, with stories like Maul alive, Asajj Ventress i her mercenary life, and the lead up to Episode III, things need to wrap up and try not to leave us with too many questions. I want Savage Opress dead, but I wouldn't mind if they left Maul alive or something. Just wrap everything up please.

During my post production class we watched a doc on the workflow of ROTS...they had shots into the editor and SPFX people within the same day. If they keep the same workflow 2-3 years in plenty enough

Vader sacrificing himself to save his son >>>>>>>Padme dies of a broken heart.

totally agree, if they do an Ultimate Spider-Man type of Star Wars show, My faith will be lost with them.

As long as they're using Lucas' treatments/story ideas I'm more optimistic. There's no denying he's a fantastic idea man.

Who are some of your favourite picks for directors/writes? The Nolans? Duncan Jones? Matthew Vaughn? Josh Trank? Neill Blomkamp?

Yeah, I love that they are using his ideas, but giving treatments and directing jobs to other people. I'm one of thos eunder the impression that had Lucas given his scripts to toehrs for rewrites and whatnot, that he would have had some infinitely better prequels. Even those hsi direction left something to be desired.

They totally destroyed her character in that movie....:csad:

OMG, I can't forgive that. She should have gone down defying the Empire and protecting her children. Not quitting because Anakin "broke her heart".

We went from Princess Leia to...that.

I just ignore the Movies. I simply don't like the thought of the uber Darth Vader, being a stupid brat before his transformation.
