I would of never guessed that...suddenly your dislike of Mara Jade ALMOST makes since.

So now Disney owns the Star Wars stuff they can make changes to episode 1-6 that Lucas wouldn't change and re-release them on bluray.Like updated lightsabers and computer panels in episodes 4-6.

I wouldn't say he is a bad director there is some thuds on his resume but Unbreakable, the Sixth Sense, the Happening were all really good movies.

The Happening? Hmm...it's a schlocky 'fun' film I suppose, but it's not good. Entertaining but not good*.... but I guess you're not aware of it's reputation?

He has failed time and time again. After a while, it was hard even for me to defend him after The Village, Lady in the Water, The Happening, and the cream of the crop The Last Airbender. Sure his first two movies are good but the rest of his resume speaks for himself. And I was a huge fan at first but he's lost it.

M. Night's like the abusive husband that you go back to again and again, trying to justify his actions and forgiving him. Seriously his reputation now as a filmmaker is just bad, especially after cornering the 'Last Airbender' crowd and p*ssing them off.

*I'm a firm believer of liking movies for its merit and know it's not a good film.

I love the Wachowski's, but I don't think they'd be suited to Star Wars. I still maintain that the directing choice will come out of left field and be someone none of us considered. Who knows though. I could be wrong.

The problem with M Night is not a lack of directing skills. The guy knows how to tell a story visually. The problems with his movies lie in the writing room. Keep him away from the script writing phase and he could do well. That being said, there are other directors I'd chose before him for Star Wars.

I dont know if its been asked yet but is the remaining 5 films getting the 3D release still? I know AOTS was next for early next year but I havent heard anything more.

Ep II is scheduled for 9/20/13 and Ep III a few weeks later on 10/11/13. I really don't see them making any changes from that.

well i dont dislike female characters cause i'm female . I just... i dunno, Mara annoyed me at times, althought i liked the idea of where she came from.
