:D  It is addictive and Star Wars has such a great range of collectibles. I know you got the life size Ventress bust ordered, what else have you gotten?

Cool, I've never seen a yellow Lightsaber other than in the old McQuarrie Luke concept art.

I love Ventress sooo...I've beeen picking up a lot of Ventress stuff...

This 12" figure is one of the cheaper things I've seen and I picked it up (I've been watching since it was released)...

and I'm currently watching one of these......fairly pricey but have to have it, I also saw it at Comic-Con when I attended a few years back: :

That's a nice PF, stands about 20 inches high I believe. What's it going for?

George Lucas, ‘Star Wars’ Stars Lend Support To Auction For Ailing Infant

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Members of the loyal “Star Wars” community – including the master himself, George Lucas – are lending their support to the family of 9-month-old Leah Esquenazi, as the infant fights for her life.

Lovingly dubbed “Princess Leah,” the baby – daughter of avid “Star Wars” fans Francesca and Zev Esquenazi – is suffering from an as-of-yet undiagnosed neurological condition that causes her tiny body to shake uncontrollably, along with extreme difficulty breathing, cataracts and other symptoms.

In and out of hospitals for the last eight months, the Esquenazi family told Access Hollywood they are $2.5 million in debt due to Leah’s mystery illness (which continues to baffle a team of over 60 doctors) – a burden the “Star Wars” community is attempting to ease with the auction of two “Clone Wars” helmets signed by over 40 “Star Wars” actors, directors, editors, writers and artists, including George Lucas, Seth Green and Peter Mayhew (who played Chewbacca in the famed films).

The auction ends Monday — you can bid on the Republic Commando helmet HERE and the Clone Trooper helmet HERE!

In a phone interview on Saturday, Access spoke with an active member of “Princess Leah’s Angels” – a private Facebook group dedicated to garnering support for the struggling family – who spoke for the Esquenazis, as Leah had suddenly developed severe breathing difficulties and was being rushed back to the hospital.

“They have been overwhelmed,” the member, who wished to remain anonymous, told Access of the continuously heartwarming outpouring of support from the “Star Wars” community and social media users. “The response from not only the ‘Star Wars’ community, but Facebook [and] the world has been overwhelming.”

The member said Leah’s parents were repeatedly cautioned that due to our fast-paced society, the public’s interest would inevitably wane, and Facebook groups would become idle.

However, the Esquenazis have experienced quite the opposite.“They’ve been finding that it’s been growing stronger… [even] people with very limited means are still finding ways to help them,” the member shared.

^^ Very sad but it's nice to hear how people are trying to help. Hopefully some really rich fan puts in a massive bid for the helmet's and gets the family back on track.

this is what the Star Wars community should be like all the time

Asajj PF $700

Yes...thats the diorama...:woot:...one of my favorite CW moments :yay:

In the Clone Wars season 4 promo I thought the Death Watch soldier with the unusual helmet was Bo-Katan, however when putting them side by side it's clearly not. The markings on the helmet are like Pre Vizsla's but the frame doesn't look big enough. Could there be another important new Death Watch member other than Bo-Katan this season?

Ouch! That's ridiculous, just extorting fans at that price.

It's an awesome diorama for sure. :D  I took a look and there are a few for sale; at reasonable prices as well.

...that's why I'm just watching the PF figure...the diorama is reasonable.

...I've been watching those two helmets the last week for baby Leah...I"m also watching the facebook page for her...I wish I could bid on those helmets to help out.....the fact that its SW related would just be a good bonus. My prayers with her and her family...and since this is a SW thread, may the force be with her and her family.

Awesome to hear about the support the family is getting :up Things like this make me believe there's hope for this world, after all.

Watched my theatrical DVDs of the OT earlier. Still very mad the theatrical cuts aren't on the new Blu-ray set. I never liked the changes made in the SEs, and the Blu-ray set sounds like the changes made are even worse.

Just watched EP II...looked amazing...the colors and detail, I thought EP I looked amazing---this one blew me away (the opening scene was incredible on my tv...)......Its been forever since I've seen the film from beginning to end, a nice trip down memory lane...

The tree is looking great Erz. I really like the Luke and Obi Wan ornament.

Well said, and in truth it will be best for the family if it isn't someone like one of us that wins the bidding, a rich Star Wars fan would be the best thing that could happen as they'd pay over the odds to get the helmets.

Any Luke Skywalker FX Lightsabers available for purchase?

The chase through Coruscant was the scene that grabbed me the most of all on the Blu Ray release.

Some people may not like Lucas but there is no denying he is probably one of the most charitable celebrities out there.

So...Who else is excited for the release of Star Wars: The Old Republic? Early Access starts in 9 days (Dec. 15), depending on when you registered your pre-order code and the game launches on Dec. 20.

You just wait until you get to Episode III; imo that's the most amazing looking one. I fell in love with Coruscant all over again.

Hunter: i cant name everyone :O

I cant remember the last time i played a SW game lol. That's not true, i do! It was that Rebel Assault II one hahaha.

Agreed, such a great guy. His George Lucas education foundation has done a lot of good. Three cheers for Uncle George!

Is Darth Marr in the Old Republic game or just in the books?

Hunter: i cant name everyone :O

Heh! :D neither could I, these were the two I didn't know.

I'd buy that new one if I were into those type of games or had online gaming set up. It's interesting to note in the pre- saga days and in post-ROTJ stuff the Jedi often have armor, unlike the cloth attire in the movies.

I just don't have that much free time to be in an open world like Star Wars.

That's another thing, it's not like playing Uncharted or GOW, you have to dedicate yourself to this type of game....although looking at your avvy I thought you may have been getting it Erz.
