Speaking of books though, I can't find the thrawn trilogy ANYWHERE! So I've started my EU reading with book 1 of the Legacy... collection.

I'd say the Core worlds are probably in line, maybe some of the Mid-Rim worlds as well. The Outer-Rim, that's another story. Personally, I'd think that the Outer-Rim is still largely independent, as well as alot of Mid-Rim worlds.

Gives whoever is playing Leia, or some other beaurocrats, something to do with getting the rest of the galaxy under one banner.

And Coruscant has been liberated and is the New Republic's capital.
