2.It's structurally an ANH ripoff.
3.The First Order superweapon is called Starkiller Base.
4.Kylo Ren is in the movie.

Having seen the film not an hour ago I'd say I agree with Gianakin that it is indeed something of a take off ANH. Its akin to how Tomorrow Never Dies recycles the basic plot of The Spy Who Loved Me, which itself used the plot of You Only Live Twice. What you're failing to understand is that it can be a "rip off" of another film (within its own franchise) and still have unique character beats and storylines.

Doesn't mean it's a rip off necessarily as maybe JJ paying some homage etc. Listen honestly it's ****ing 4:15 am I'm not getting into these debates after this haha.

I haven't seen it yet, but considering what happens in the third act, I can't see how it "beat by beat" exactly the same.

Ok, I'll forego the term "rip-off" and instead use something softer for your palate. It's a basic "remake" of ANH, which does not mean it's bad in any shape or form. It really is the James Bond model here, applied to a larger fictional universe. Again there's nothing wrong with that, but it is what it is.
