Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy Wishful Thinking Thread

Fillion's character in Serenity is nothing if not with a heart of gold. There've been many times in the TV show Firefly he has shown evidence of that attribute. Which is why I see him as Solo.

I dunno. I watched the movie and even though he did have a heart of gold, it just didn't remind me of Solo, even though the character was Solo-esque. Also, Solo would be around 40, and I think Jackman can pull it off better than anyone.

Truth be told, I'd rather have a story set in a whole new generation altogether, either before PT or after OT.

If after OT, then perhaps during the era of Cade Skywalker in Star Wars: Legacy.

I actually really enjoyed the Knights of the Old Republic games, perhaps they could be adapted into a movie? The story was so good!

Fascist. Nice to see U again. I think this thread is pretty pointless since we already know Lucas is not doing anymore Star Wars movies. So I don't see the point to this at all. there are numerous interviews where he states this. I am not disagreeing with anybody. it's a fact.

I was full of fury when I first joined but realised that if you do that people just take the piss and no-one listens. Mellow, listen to what other people have to say and provide a constructive counterpoint to their argument. If you do that things will go a lot smoother and people will start to pay more attention to what you have to say. No-one wants to fight but getting angry is only ever gonna put people on the defensive which leads to bickering

I am totally cool with that..But you have to understand something about me. I don't care if people pay attention to me or not, like me or not. I am not here or anywhere in the internet to fit in..or to be cool with Anyone. I learned a long time ago, that I don't really care one way or another. I get defensive when someone starts pointless threads like these..Bashing Lucas..from my point of view it's so clear..it's like looking thru a clean window..you just see everything the way it is..I can see these guys are here just to Bash on Lucas..and that is what I see..will that change? I don't see it changing..So, I am not changing either..It's all about bashing the PT here when we talk about star wars..there's like 5 Star Wars threads out there that the subject is all about a complaint. they don't like ROTS, they don't like the DVDS, they don't like Jar Jar. they hated the changes in the DVD. blah, blah, blah..maybe those people should get send a complaint to lucas, he has a website. The first day I came here..and the days following, I never saw anyone say anything positive about Lucas, about the movies..it's all about acting childish in here..Therefore, I don't care if people like me or not. And I rather have them not like me, because I wouldn't want to have friends like these.

Yes but my point is if you want to trun the conversation positive you can by phrasing things in the right way. For example, ROTS sucks

your response would better as: "What makes you say that" or "ok that's your opinion but I thought it was good because A...B...C..." you're opening up a dialogue and getting people to take what you say on board (trust me I work in sales where sometimes the ammounts can be as high as 150k-200k, getting people to listen to me and take what I say onboard is what I do )

Alternatively if you come out saying wanker I'm gonna punch you etc etc all people do is switch off, pay no attention to what you say and start insulting you back

When someone makes a thread saying "ROTS sucks" Immediately I know, that person doesn't deserve to be heard. And I don't have the patience..remember that thread saying Lucas was CGI crazy? I proved my point posting miniature pics and people just ignored the facts and continued to attack Lucas..I have not the patience..

On another note, I hope to whatever god exists that he never does another Star Wars movie. That is what made the first three so good, it's that he didn't direct them.
