And looking to the future, it was announced only last week that you had landed the part of Gwen Stacy (Peter Parker’s love interest in the new Spiderman film) alongside Andrew Garfield – were you surprised to land this part? And have you spent much time with Andrew yet?

Yeah, I auditioned with him (Andrew Garfield). I’m so excited and really can’t believe that it’s happening. But I guess it is, so… yeah, it starts soon so it’s very exciting. We start filming 6 December, so it will probably be out July 2012 or so.

The first three movies were filmed in LA. Most of the skyline is CGI anyway, or blue/ green screen with the image superimposed while Spidey is swinging through it.

Doesn't CSI: New York film in LA, even though it's meant to be the big apple? They film all their location shots in one go.

So where is all the other casting news? Recently Emma Stone said she starts her "training" in about two weeks, and i assume Garfield has been training for a little now. If training really starts in two weeks i would expect some important casting news soon, especially considering Decembers shoot date feels as though its right around the corner, seriously we are a week away from November, and a little more then a month away from December. Where is the casting news?!

We still don't know much, MJ might not even be in it.. Jonah Jameson and Aunt May? Who knows.. The Daily Bugle might be changed to a blog spot for fox news for all I know.

filming in december and realesed in 2012. this means that they wil lhave mroe then 1 year for post production.

how is this normal news? this is something that almost never happens in hollywood. this movie will not be rushed.

It was rumored that the budget will be 80 million. But who knows? Maybe the LA stuff is just for the scenes on the different sets.

They aren't going to use real actual sewers when filming. It will be sets. Think of the filming conditions. Rats, nemonia, water, horrible lighting, getting all the gear, high wires, and cameras down there.

I want REAL f:::ing sewers, not some plastic looking fake set design, pieced together by the goons at Sony Imageworks. Remember Spider-Man and the Green Goblin on that fake ass looking shiny and plastic rooftop. They have really bad production value at Sony. They couldn't even find a real rooftop to film a simple freakin' scene from. Pathetic.

With all the early *****ing that went on, I actually think this will be much better for the fans than Raimi's efforts. No disrespect intended as at least Spidey 2 was one of the better SH films in history.
