I dig her.

Mystique is alright. Her power set is the least impressive thing about her. They're are just too many shapechangers that can do everything she can do but much better. Any normal skrull is more powerful than mystique. And people like morph or copycat can easily outdo her.

Mystique is alright. She is usually rather boring when she is isn't being super evil like when she slit Banshees throat during the X-Corps storyline.

Most of her popularity over the last decade is down to the X-Men movies in which she is a central charcter for some reason.

Is she? She was just Mags' sidekick in the first 3 movies. I think she only had like 5 or 6 lines outta all three. Only time she was a central character was the prequel.

...and her power set is awesome in the right hands. She's not designed to go toe to toe with Colossus. She's there to **** things up at home and she does that great. Sewing dissent in the ranks. Acquiring intelligence. All that stuff is awesome.


Oh and for a bonus she's a good enough fighter to hang with Gambit and Wolverine.

Yeah I worded that wrong I should of said more prominent. Shes more recognisable to non-comic reading folk because she was in all four movies and although she didn't have alot of lines she had some memorable fight scenes.

I like Mystique for the potential that the character could have. She is a shape shifter and can mimic people. That's a HUGE weapon to have. She'd be perfect as like an Agent of SHIELD or in some type of espionage comic.

I'm not a big X-Men fan so I have no idea what they've recently done with the character but all I've ever seen her used as, when I've seen her, is as eye candy and sexual stuff.

I don't think she's a genuine sociopath. She's bitter, cynical, misanthropic, vengeful, and is more than willing to kill and manipulate people to get said vengeance, but she and Destiny had a loving relationship, and there have been brief moments where she showed that she truly felt bad for the way she's treated Rogue and Nightcrawler over the years. And, honestly, I think that makes her worse than a sociopath. Sociopaths don't care about anyone but themselves, they're just not capable of it, and the only reason that most of them are perfectly safe, law abiding citizens is that most of them just don't see anything to gain in being actively evil. Mystique is aware of how awful she is, of how much she has ruined the lives of her children, and is fully capable of being a good person for all the right reasons, but still refuses to actually make those changes in herself because her hatred and her bleak, hopeless worldview is too important to her sense of self.

Which is why she's an awesome villain.

and yet again as a Villain, Misty Rocks! She and Moonstone are some of my top vilest, nasty ass, most jacked up femme fatales ever!!, but as a good guy she SUCKS!!Like Frankie said she has an awesome power.As a girlfriend you could be all like "Hey babe! I feel like a bit of MEGAN FOX tonight!"... of course then you would get into a fight with her ,cause she would say you care more about Megan than you do her.. which will in turn lead to her suffocating your ass with a pillow while you slept!....... Its always the bad ones!!!

My favorite mutant character, not to be confused with my favorite X-Man, who would be Havok. Although, if you consider her off-and-on tenure with the team, I suppose she could usurp Alex for the top-spot. I loved her series from a few years ago, in which she worked as a clandestine operative for Xavier.

Mystique is great as a villain, and her costume is fantastic. She was adapted horribly in the movies with that stupid tattoo skin and lack of costume.

I thought she was great in the movies. Especially X-2. Loved her talk with Nightcrawler.

She's underused in the comics these days though. Still awesome.

I was a fan of her being a contract killer for Prof X as well. If I recall correctly, that series made cool use out of her powers.

Personally I haven't read a whole lot with her, but I've liked her in Avengers Academy. Glad she's not on the main Avengers team though, never seemed to fit that role to me for some reason.

I used to think she was one of the lamest Avengers. Now I consider her one of their greatest. See what the power of awesome writing can accomplish?

I have never been that into Tigra she seems a rather meh character. She was alright in Westcoast Avengers I suppose.
