I'm a fan of her in theory, though a lot of her stuff has ended up irritating (particularly the movie appearances, which were cast terribly). Some of her mini's were very good though imo.

To me, the Child of Light and Darkness/Dark Phoenix Saga is the greatest comics storyline ever done, one of the few justifiable deaths in the history of comics, and just a brilliant story period. Everything that has been done with Scott and Jean since then goes against the tenor and tone of that story, and they have ruined both characters. So in my mind, Jean was the Phoenix, she sacrificed herself on the moon because she could not control the power, Scott left the X-Men after her funeral and that is the end of both of their stories. It's not like the mess with Emma is the first out of character, scumbag thing they've had Cyclops (my favorite X-Man) do since Jean died...the whole mess with Madelyne Pryor, for example, then leaving her for a supposedly returned Jean...just all of it cheapens the original stories and although I know most of it has been explained as manipulations by Mr. Sinister, it's still bad storytelling and bad stories. They needed to leave those two alone-they gave them the best send-off any characters could ever get.

Elektra

Great character but only when handled by Frank Miller. Otherwise, no interest. She's an excellent example of why characters creators should be consulted more if they are alive. I'm sure Miller never wanted her running around looking like a **** the way they had her in the 90's comics, especially when she was meant to be a serious character. And I'm not even a Miller fan-in fact I dislike most of his work besides Daredevil.

The best thing you ever did was to get killed!?!? and forget that white uniform good /girl stuff when they tried to make her on the side of the angels. the only reason she's popular is cause artist like drawing her all hot looking and crap! Maaannn! how are you going to take the avengers on with a couple of forks!*she should have got killed again! she sucks!

Elektra's alright. I liked the first arc or so of her series maybe ten years ago. I tend to like stories that she guest stars in (Wolverine: Enemy of the State, New Avengers/Secret Invasion, etc.). I don't know that I'd say I like her, but I enjoy her at least.

My second-favorite character. Elektra's awesome when she's in the right hands, but horribly one-note when in the wrong ones. Zeb Wells' Dark Reign mini-series was probably the best recent thing I've read with her in it, and I would love to see him do an ongoing featuring her. On the other hand, her appearances in Heroes for Hire pretty much struck that one-note cord to which I referred earlier.

I think part of the problem stems form the fact that, at her core, Elektra's far more complex than most writers want to write her as. She's more often than not pegged as just "generic, badass assassin girl," when she really isn't. In many ways, her origin is just as tragic as some of the best of them, but the difference between Elektra and someone like Batman or Spider-Man is, she dishes out her own brand of justice, playing the role of judge, jury, and executioner where she sees fit. And if she can make a little bit of cash on the side while doing so, all the better.

1) the 1st round of contestants in ninja warrior( you know the guys who cant get past the 1st obstacle," that sorry 80's flick "American ninja" old ass Lee Van Cleef ( who i love but shouldnt have being a ninja at his age" The master! Tv show" and YOU- TUBE'S "ASK A NINJA!" ( though it is hella funny!)
2) Vampires -unless you are a teen age girl! all red bloodied american guys should be dissing sparkly love torn "Twilight B*&^%% vampires
