State your opinion a character - Part 1

Put me on the bandwagon of the Kitty and Colossus relationship being stale. I'm fine with the relationship, but since the X-office has lacked creativity for years there is really nothing to it besides them being together.

Phantom Girl > Kitty Pryde.

Why did she call herself Ariel at one point?

She either really loved the Little Mermaid, or that was around when she realized she could kinda sorta fly.

Kitty should have stepped up as one of the "Brains" of the Marvel Universe by now. She was billed as the next great intellect for a while.


Loved her mini with Wolverine when she turned into Shadowcat. Plus she chopped Logan in half nearly.

Then there was that time Deadpool gave her a taste of the Shoryuken.

Probably wins my personal award for "most improved character ever." She was f***ing insufferable as the ditzy girl she started out as, but she grew over time into a strong, independent woman and a respectable leader. I hope she comes back soon. She's been dead a couple years now.

Love Hank and Jan both, Jan reminds me of Sue Dibny a bit. I basically ignore everything from 1980 on at Marvel-it's really helpful with them as they ruined Hank Pym with the wife hitting thing.

But by doing that, you eliminate Jan evolving as a character, from a Ditzy socialite, to a strong, independent woman and one of the Avengers all time best field leaders.

Jan needs to come back, pronto! I love the relationship She-Hulk, Sue, and Jan have.

I'm a big fan of Wasp, she's classic Avengers and really one of the better developed characters in the pages of Avengers books (along with Pym) .

Maybe this was because they never had successful ongoings and fought with other writers, but wasp, pym, vision, and wonder man some of my favorite characters...

I used to really enjoy small doses of the "soap operas" going on with those guys that you didnt see with the others.

Never really got to no Jan so I have no opinion. Can't stand her in the Avengers cartoon though.

for me i am very ambiguous on the character. she was one of those background characters that i liked cause she was on "my" avengers team as a kid, but really never did nothing. i did like that each month.the artist had to keep coming up with new costumes for her( the artist must have hated that!) and i would look forward to that but that was it. i did like he giving yellowjacket the boot after he hit her. that was cool as a message for not staying in a volatile relationship...didnt like her as avengers leader... so for the most part she Rocks kinda/ sorta, but i like her better i think as a robot!

I'm with ya dude. I never saw the appeal of a character whose power is to shrink down to a size where she should rightfully get a mortal injury from a flyswatter
Interacting with other characters-wise, she was fine, but I really didn't like them trying to make her look useful in action scenes.

Like a lot of the X-Men I actually like, I think he'd grow more as a character by not being an X-Man.

My favorite XMan bar none! i love characters that play against type.the big ass guy who wouldn't hurt a fly but would throw your ass a mile if you pissed him off! the dude that make the fastball of the "fastball special!" the dude that was more worried that storm was okay instead of fighting the juggernaut. Hated they changed him into a bad guy, hated they killed him off! He was and still is the dude! So mix me a fastball special with rum( it's a drink i concocted for reals, put you on your ass! hehe) cause COLOSSUS( Thats a bad ass Name baby!) rocks!
