come on! it's Spidey the dudes a ICON! an yes the whole "spider cloning" took my life and "making a deal with the devil" made me want to throw away my Spiderman Under-Roos! He's still the Man and ROCKS LIKE A MOTHER&%^%$#!!the dudes been around forever so sure they are going to try some crap that don't work and some that do! i am still waiting for the accident to de-age him back to a teenager again.... oh but then that's where the new cat come in! you know the saying "you never miss something till its gone".. if spidey wasnt around i would miss his devil making deal ass! especially since he's still the only dude that has a sense of humor in the Marvel universe. He rocks like the ones that Charlie Brown got for Halloween!!( that what he got for looking like a potato!) hehe

The bad stories have been long gone for a while now and you must be on drugs to think he's written better in New Avengers. Nobody is written better in New Avengers.

Spider-Man is my favorite character, but I haven't bought a single comic of his since OMD.

Have a big pre-OMD run in my collection though, and I have all of Ultimate Spider-Man in first prints right up until they switched to that idiot artist who drew him like an 11 year old boy with a beach ball for a head. If this new stuff with Miles Morales ends up going well though I'll get it in trades.

I love Spidey, one of my favs. but like Random Havoc I own nothing past OMD and got rid of most of my Straczynski run. I miss my Spidey comics but I can't get over OMD, sorry Spidey.

LOVE him. He's my second favorite comics character. I don't think I've ever had much fun reading comics long term than with Spidey. 80's Spider-man was awesome in multiple titles. Stern's run was the ****. PAD was amazing when he wrote the title. Stan's original run was the **** too. McFarlane was great when he came on too. I know his ability declined over the years, but when he was on Spider-man he was really good.

With Spider-man he's the perfect hero in terms of powers. He's not so powerful that it makes him boring, but he's got a lot of things that makes him impressive and fun to read. Then in terms of how his stories are he's very versatile. You can write a jovial story with Peter Parker, and it wouldn't be out of place at all. Then you can write something serious such as the Death of Jean DeWolff or Kraven's Last Hunt. Pete can be witty and focused instead of just being some brooding guy or a class clown. That's what I love about his versatility.

This. OMD may suck but Spidey's been around since the 60s and for the most part has been awesome. One of the greatest heroes ever created - iconic look, simple but meaningful motto (with great power...), relatable alter-ego and up until recently a super hot wife!

Pretty much the only dude who should be the boss of the entire Marvel universe. He's got the knowledge to gather intelligence on everyone and, most importantly, the will to dirty his hands and actually use that intelligence however it's needed for the greater good. He's the barricade between the heroes and the ugly choices that they might potentially have to make if he weren't handling a good percentage of things behind the scenes before they ever come to the heroes' attention.

i probably.. and i can say it!...the Black NF has overridden the white one... he's has became sorta of eh! whatever! when he shows up! Samuel jackson sorta ruined dude for me!( Jackson's like the streetwalker of Hollywood !that dude will take anything if the price is right! he use to be cool but after " Deep blue sea" forget about it) i like as having no powers, he can stand up to anybody, but then i am like dude!! I got lectricity coming out my pants!! i Know you aint talking to me! Dude was sorta cool in civil war, but eh forget about it.... too many" oh! you hit my *LMD( Life Model decoys)and David Hasseholf ruined him for me too!

*Man!I sure would like some of those for when my ex-wife show up!
