I like the Kingpin. He's one of those villains I never really need to see much effort from in order to like him. I'm content with him just occupying his role as Marvel's primary crime boss and showing up now and then to do crime bossy things in whoever's comic happens to be dealing with organized crime that month. Sort of like a lot of Batman's villains. They all occupy their own, well defined niches so well that I don't need to see too much innovation to enjoy them.

I like him, but before reading the previous DD series I didn't care about him. Can't say I care about his upbringing into becoming the Kingpin but I do like how messed up his family seems to be.

I like the character, more as DD villain though. I hated it when Spider-Man would have trouble with this guy back in the silver age. Oh, its not fat, its muscle! Bs. Spidey should be able to tear this guy apart, no problem. That was really the only part of Back in Black I liked actually, seeing him have his ass handed to him.

I hated that part of "Back in Black." Not because Spider-Man shouldn't be able to kick the Kingpin's ass easily; I agree with that point. But because it cast Spider-Man as the one thing I would've thought he'd never, ever let himself become: a bully. The Kingpin gives him a scare, so he marches into the prison knowing full well that nobody can touch him and proceeds to beat the s*** out of the Kingpin as if that does anything at all to alleviate his problems. It was very small and childish of him, and I hated seeing Spider-Man reduced to that.

Was that before or after he hired a dude who nearly killed his aunt?

Cuz if it was before, then yeah. If it was after, then f**k that fat bastard. :o

THat's it for Kingpin

Kingpin smash chess set!

Zemo

Great Cap villain. I know folks are upset that his progression from the T-Bolts has been forgotten but it doesn't bug me as much as it does others. I wish he was used better than just being a villain out for revenge as Brubaker, Parker and McCann have portrayed him as late. He's better than that.

Sucks! Dudes pissed off cause he was trying some world domination ^^%$# and cap made him forever get his mask stuck to his head!?!?( why would you be wearing a rag mask anyways next to some adhesive?!) I am in love with death, i was in a nazi concentration camp. those modus operandi i can understand, but getting my mask super glued to my head! hey smart guy! how about not wearing a mask next time!plus whats up with the magenta, yellow with leopard spots! Man! you need some fashion tips from Heidi Klum bro! Boo Zemo Sucks!

I prefer him as a more complicated character than I've seen him portrayed lately. Brubaker makes him more of an outright bad guy, which kind of sucks.

Once-great character reduced to f***ing idiocy because Ed goddamn Brubaker was too lazy to bother respecting what better writers had done in the 20 years since his little fanboy version of Zemo-as-single-minded-revenge-villain was around. As far as I'm concerned, Helmut Zemo wandered into the mist after Born Better, never to be seen again. This is some terrible new guy who's smearing s*** all over the Zemo name. I hope Helmut comes back to stab him in the eye with a sword someday. :o

I'd have been okay with it had they at least come up with a reason why he suddenly was a *****e again.

Zemo's awesome, he's the perfect anti-Cap. The scene where he confront's his father during Born Better is probably my favourite Cap/Thunderbolts related moment.
he gets a big

from me.

Zemo was a character with some depth that's been reduced to a nothing. It's a shame, really.

Actually that'd be nice...

If it were just someone who picked up the mantle, but the real Zemo came back and messed him up...

Basically agree, although he's still not ruined or anything.

Luke Cage:Power Man

Cage is generally a badass and what I've read of Thunderbolts with Cage as leader has been really good. I haven't read enough stuff with the character to say much more than that.

Never liked Luke Cage and think he has become over exposed. He's a decent character when done right, but I'm not sure why Bendis likes him so much.

I think the the simple reason is that Luke was not really over exposed in the 80s and 90s.

Really I like Power Man and Iron Fist, and that concept...Avengers/Tbolts Cage, not as much.

This may stem from my dislike of "street level Avengers" which has defined the past era.

It's funny, I never cared for him until Bendis started using him all the time......but not because of Bendis using him. Bendis' push for Cage got other writers using him and I loved how they wrote him. Moral of the story...I'm now a big Cage fan. Surprised he hasn't been given his own ongoing again....

Sweet Christmas!!!about damn time Anubis man! hehe ROCKS hella hard. Luke is 1 of my top all time guys! yeah. he was 1 of the few brother heroes i saw growing up ,but it's more than that!
1) Steel hard skin!
2) Tiara ,yellow shirt and chain( when you are a bad ass man you can wear anything cause who's going to talk ^%$ about you!
3) beat Power man/Atlas/Golitah and took that fool's name! that was awesome! who has beaten someone for their name??!
4) replaced the Thing in the FF! ( only a couple has been able to do that)
5) did the nasty with black cat on a couch( that alone makes me love him!)
6) Nicholas Cage got his name from him!( and who doent love nick cage in some flick!)
7)took the wreckers bar! (only a bad man can do that)
8)Went to kick Doom's ass for $200! don't mess with a brother and his money
9) Has captain america's respect! come on! Booya!
10) The awesome relationship that him and Fist has.again unlike the real world reading PM and Iron fist. I thought as a kid we could all get along!

hate Bendis or not,but if he didnt love the character so much... love him or hate him luke would have drifted off to where "SUPERPRO" lives.. and for that he Rocks and So does Luke baby!

He's okay. His 70's comics are hilarious blacksploitation epics, however.

Luke Cage is one of my favourite characters. His an everyman trying to do the right thing even though it often leads him into trouble.

He actually has a decent intresting origin too. Which because its based on blaxploitation movies is very cinematic.

Some of his 70s comics are hilarious. The one were he fights obease drug dealing black women big momma is pure jokes. Luke Cage short lived two year solo 90s comic series is underrated. Its worth checking out.

I kind of dislike the fact Bendis turned him into a man****e before he settled down with Jessica Jones. Luke usually had steady serious relationships (Reva Conners, Claire Temple & Harmony Young) before bendis got his hands on him. Other than that I don't really have a problem with Bendis take on the character.

Some of the coolest Luke Cage moments are Luke beating Sabertooth almost to death after Creed savagely beat Cage model girlfriend (Misty Knights roommate) scarring her face and putting her in hospital.
