No feelings towards that fat bastard
I hated that part of "Back in Black." Not because Spider-Man shouldn't be able to kick the Kingpin's ass easily; I agree with that point. But because it cast Spider-Man as the one thing I would've thought he'd never, ever let himself become: a bully. The Kingpin gives him a scare, so he marches into the prison knowing full well that nobody can touch him and proceeds to beat the s*** out of the Kingpin as if that does anything at all to alleviate his problems. It was very small and childish of him, and I hated seeing Spider-Man reduced to that.I like the character, more as DD villain though. I hated it when Spider-Man would have trouble with this guy back in the silver age. Oh, its not fat, its muscle! Bs. Spidey should be able to tear this guy apart, no problem. That was really the only part of Back in Black I liked actually, seeing him have his ass handed to him.
Actually that'd be nice...Once-great character reduced to f***ing idiocy because Ed goddamn Brubaker was too lazy to bother respecting what better writers had done in the 20 years since his little fanboy version of Zemo-as-single-minded-revenge-villain was around. As far as I'm concerned, Helmut Zemo wandered into the mist after Born Better, never to be seen again. This is some terrible new guy who's smearing s*** all over the Zemo name. I hope Helmut comes back to stab him in the eye with a sword someday.![]()
