Alba other than looking sooo freaking good in that outfit was about it for me! And those funky Blue contacts she wore in the second one really creeped my ass out!!

yeah I can definitely agree with that

Moving on
Little known fact, Sue is a huge Mighty Boosh fan. This is from that time she got ripped on Appletinis at She-Hulks birthday party and started doing Electro Boy/girl.

Daredevil

He can do everything Batman can do while being blind and poor. He is the very definition of a badass.

Well, being blind he doesn't necessarily need a Devilmobile. :o

Seeing as how he doesn't live in the suburbs he doesn't need a car to get into the city anyway.

Besides, he's not so above it all that he isn't willing to swallow his pride and take the goddamn bus. :o

Daredevil's one of my favorite heroes. His stories (the good ones, anyway) have a great balance of being gritty and hopeful, without too much of either. And he can stay consistently interesting while fighting street-level villains, which isn't easy.

The only thing that bugs me about Daredevil is that the writers have a habit of having him get into over the top martial arts battles with the likes of bullseye in the middle of a New York street and not only do the cops not show up right away, but there doesn't seem to be anybody around. As someone who has been to New York before, ever, this strikes me as too unrealistic to shrug off. That place is ****ing packed.

Not sure if I like him or not. I still don't like how he plays this mentor figure to Spider-Man when Spidey's been web slinging for years.

His powers are pretty interesting but he falls short of having a decent Rogues Gallery. A lot of whom are borrowed from other titles (namely the Kingpin and more recently Black Tarantula.) Shadowland didn't work out either for me.

Let's not forget he's also a guy who had a Bendis-induced psychological breakdown. It was rather painful to read.

I have given him multiple chances but I just can't get into him. Never a fan.

Eh while Kingpin may have began as a Spider-Man villain, he IS a DD villain. Hell, I'd go as far as to say that he's his nemesis. They have far more history than, the few dust ups Spidey had with Kingpin. (And that time he saved him from his crazy ass son.)

I like DD. He's just a nice hard boiled, get in there and get your hands dirty, kind of Superhero. The kinda guy that will show up in a dive bar and beat the crap outta everybody in there until they give him the name of whoever he's looking for.

Not to mention the pathos. Dear God, people think Spidey's got it bad? He's had two girlfriends murdered right in front of him, a wife driven insane (whose life was basically ruined forever because she met him) a dead father, a mother who abandoned him for God, and now a whole bunch of murders and general A-holery he was forced to commit that he now has to live with.

If there's anybody I could see making a deal with the devil to fix his shattered life and I wouldn't be the least bit pissed about it, it would be Murdock. :(

totally agree with this. you try doing that being poor!!

Give the devil his due! Cause he Rocks! DD has one of the baddest ass designs i have ever seen. dont tell me if you saw dude in a alley. you wouldn't be scared &&^%$$less and then he would beat your ass senseless with that club! i always loved that he saw that there was the "law" and that there was "justice!" and that theres a difference! not even Rex Smith " i am going to wear black " trial of the incredible Hulk or sorry ass Ben Affleck could tranish his Bad-assery. DD Rocks baby!!!

In his defense, he didn't actually SEE his girlfriends get murdered amiright?

He's benefited from probbly the best writig crew working on him out of any mainstream character though...

DD fans have been lucky as hell in that regard.

Hang on, why are people saying Daredevil's poor? He's a successful lawyer in Manhattan. I don't know what world you guys are living in, but that in no way equates to being poor.

Anyway, I haven't been a fan of DD for a long time. Did not like the super-dark period in his life. But I am absolutely in love with Waid's run now. So I guess my appreciation of Daredevil rests primarily on the tone of his series.

I meant poor as in relation to batman who has a bazillion dollars and can have such wonderful toys! DD is poor next to that dude man!

Daredevil is the ****. The great thing about him has always been that he's been popular enough to have a comic that lasts decades, but he's never so popular that he risks getting overexposed or watered down due to too much hype. His popularity also gets him enough attention that he warrants a good creative team instead of getting tossed a poor artist and writer like some people. Just look at all the people who have written the title. Marvel definitely takes good care of the character from an investment perspective. As a Daredevil fan you really don't have to worry about the book getting canceled and Matt fading away because he has a good fanbase that will stick with him, and the people at Marvel are also fans. I loved Bendis' and Brubaker's runs, but I do like the tone change that has come with Waid and the great slew of artists that are on the title now.

As a character Matt Murdock has always been appealing. He goes through a lot of ****, but he also sticks with his morals and sense of duty. Sure he's got some issues with women, but at least the dude bangs most of the people with a vagina that he interacts with. I can definitely respect a guy like that.

I love Daredevil. The first DD comic I ever bought was the relaunch with Kevin Smith, and say all you want about Smith, I thought that **** rocked. He has an awesome design (even his silly original costume is still kind of awesome), and I think his whole set up is really interesting. I havent really been reading comics recently, and from what I heard about Diggle's run/Shadowland, I wasn't too interested in that, but I picked up the first 4 issues of Waids run, and g_ _ damn! those are some fine comics. If you aren't reading DAREDEVIL, why do you hate comics?
