Good idea... never really done in a story that I ever found remotely all that good. He should be the cool, Marvel AMAZO but... He's just kinda there.

Caiera I liked. And since the Hulk cant be happy, ever, we all should have known she'd die.

I like her too. I wonder if she should have survived and come to earth instead of Skaar. Skaar is just another in the army of Hulks to me, but Caiera was something unique.

She was a great character and should have stayed alive but 'Hulk no can be happy' so onto the 'Hulks girlfriend' pile she goes.

DawnWarrior, they did a What If? issue where Hulk died and she came back instead. It wound up with her murdering all the heroes, making a giant Hulk statue then dying. She kicked everyones ass hard.

It's kinda interesting that the Planet Hulk DTV went with the happy ending, presumably 5 minutes before stuff 'splodes. Makes me wonder if the writing was on the wall at that point and the producers knew they probably wouldn't get a sequel.

It was probably an easier pitch since they didn't need to have an ending beyond THE END. No need to bring in any other names or places to confuse and if they wanted then they could do another.

CAIERA- yeah! she was cool i dug her! and really they didnt have to kill her to make Hulk mad! getting shot into space by your so called " Friends" would have been enough to keep me and him piss off!! Hulk needs some booty too! Next to Spiderman and daredevil that dude has a closet full of dead girlfriends!

I do not remember her name being mentioned, I remember Luke having a girlfriend named Harmony, not Claire.
I think a faint, vague memory is now resurfacing, as I type this in, as a result of seeing about her appearances in Luke Cage and Iron Fist: Heroes for Hire.

There should be a story that deals in a little more depth that now that in universe the super powered human phenomenon is an established thing, there is seemingly quite a few methods of bequeathing them which are pretty much reliable. Either get into how that is not the case or get into how such a thing REALLY would upend society. I mean, forget about those Atlas "Hero of the beach" things, imagine adds where the scrawny guy gets energy projection and steel skin. It would be crazy.

Astonishing Ant-man is going into that concept with the new Power Broker. I don't know how far in depth they'll go, but it's great so far.
