Spider-Man has enough dumb villains, who actually have merit. Sandman & Rhino definitely fit this bill. Both have gotten some interesting development and have been used in some really good stories. Scorpion being that dumb-threat character, having done about as much as the Grizzly, its not enough for me.

That never made any sense to me. The costume was always just an outer shell. Where the hell did the people go to digest.....into the human hosts stomach? He would swallow people whole. I try not to take comics too serious for obvious reasons but that one is a little too hard to ignore....

I thought it altered your physiology while you wore it, not just externally. It explains why you go from having normal human teeth to razor-chompers.
