Eh, it's not terrible but it's not great either. It hits the middle ground that was so common for CBMs for so long where it's merely okay. The best parts are with Chris Evans.

AND IT STILL DOESN'T HAVE A DECENT DOOM! How does a movie from the 90's that substitutes cartoons and rubber hands on sticks for CGI have a more faithful adaptation than one made for 100 million?

All I can do is way byebye as I try and forget this exists.

Just gonna say it... The Corman film being faithful didn't make it good either though.

Granted Kev, I DO think that a quality product can be made of the FF that is both pleasing to comic book fans and the general audience. I do think a version of Doom like the comics is key, and that an FF where the relationships and characterization mirror the books could work.

I'm not saying the Corman movie is a masterpiece by any means but I am saying that it remained more faithful to the source material while still having other things pop up.

I liked the FF4 movie. I does have it´s mistakes to be sure such as the miscast of Jessica Alba as Sue Storm & the whole thing with Doctor Doom. The Human Torch, The Thing were pretty spot on, & I´ve got no issue with Ioan Gruffud as Reed Richards, seeing as the movies had other dire issues.

I never read YA so I really have no idea about the characters. I guess it's cool that the "twins" are real but I don't know about what their characters are like.

It was nice for Marvel to get another speedster, plus it brought the YA one step closer to perfectly matching up with the Teen Titans.

Speed is fine. The original YA run is amazing and I highly recommend it. Then there's the follow-up Avengers: CHildren's Crusade which finally explained Scarlet Witch going crazy way better than Bendis ever could or cared to. And it kind of redeemed her, and hey who dosen,t love it when Doom has the powers of a god. Also points to that story for bringing back Scott Lang

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY​

Big fan of the Guardians in all their versions. Like the old team with Vance, loved DnA's team from years ago, and I've even come around on Bendis' team. The inclusion of Venom, Captain Marvel, and Angela had me skeptical at first but it's quite fun. I'm not too psyched about Thing joining though.

I´ll be honest here. Up until the recent movie I had seen a few glimpses of The Guardians, but never knew much of them & hardly bothered with them. Now that the hit movie has spotlighted them & brought them more to the forefront, I know more of the characters & their standing in the Marvel Universe. Of the group, I like Starlord, Rocket Raccoon, & Groot the best.

will be buying for the reason that Ben is a member but I am hoping it is short lived and he's back with the FF soon.
