Isn't he just another "I'm really good with guns and that's it" character?

Paladin's great he's a merc for hire that mostly cares about money and dosen't really have a moral compass as long as the jb pays but he does have some heroic moments and i really liked his relationship with Misty Knight in th lates Heroes for Hre run. Sorry i haven't posted in a while I'll do the next 2 on time =D

I feel like everything wrong with the 90s was just said in that sentence. :p

That being said, I don't think Paladin himself is the problem. The problem was too many characters just like that. I like Gambit, but there can only be so many Gambits. And I don't think a more EXTREME Gambit is an improvement.

Don't know much about him and never found him that interesting. Just another vaguely moral sort of assassin type guy.

Oh I know who Paladin is, I just find him rather mehtastic.

Henry Peter Gyrich

A complete typical government A-Hole and a great supporting character.

On that note, I'm surprised they never gave him super-powers. :o

He serves a purpose.

I like his moment in Avengers Earth Heroes cartoon when Cap and Lady Viper save all the human captives from Skrulls
"I monitor aliens"
"They should fire you"

Whenever you need a government A-Hole, Gyrich's your man.

He served a purpose, don't know what happened with him or if he's still around. Hope they got rid of him. People like that never get the final comeuppance they deserve in real life, it'd be nice if they at least did in the comics.

He was last seen in Captain America as being behind D-Man's brainwashing to be the new Scourge. I think Gyrich himself was brainwashed but I can't recall. Whatever the details, he's supposedly rotting in a SHIELD jail.

I first encountered him when I saw that awful Spider-Man Unlimited show... Needless to say his comic counterpart is vastly superior.

I like him. I never really considered him a villain. He's kind of just there, doing his weird experiments, good or bad.

I like the idea of him but I can't say I've read any stories he was significant in that I liked him in

The High E? Not a fan of him or his involvment in any of the stories he's in. There's a reason he's had LONG stretches of being MIA despite having connections to a crap ton of characters.

I enjoy HE's existence.

I dig him. Wish they used him more. Dr Moreau ripoff that he is.
