I remember him in Claremont's run of Uncanny, shortly after Jean's death cyclops just ****ed off and went sailing with some hot blonde but got stranded on an island and kept getting mind****ed by this guy and he teamed up with Man-Thing to take him down =D. That was my introduction to Man-Thing one of my favorite characters ever so I have thank D'spayre for that, and he was prety cool mind****ing Cyke and all

I got nuthin', but if he had a hobby of messing with Cyclops, then he's alright by me. His costume looks cool, too.

He's okay. Always liked Gargan.

To me, Gargan has greater potential as a serious threat to Spider-Man than he's portrayed (mostly because he's really stupid).

I used to like him.
Then writers stuck him as a D-list idiot.
He went from being a respectable character...
...to less than a Hydro-Man level villain.
And then they went and f*&^ing made him Venom.
And I hated him.
And now he's the Scorpion again.
In God awful armor.
Brought back by a God awful writer.
Drawn in that God awful armor by a God awful artist.
So as Venom, I hated him.
And as the Big Time/post Superior era Scorpion, I hate him.

The original Venom. I dig him a lot. Like so many others in Spidey's rogue list his potential as a threat is wasted.

He's alright. I was 50/50 on the whole Venom thing. I like that they were trying to do something with him to make him more of a threat but I just wasn't into the whole symbiote thing.

He was my favorite Spider-Man villain, ever since I first saw him in Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, and in the still favorite Spidey episode of mine of any show; "Attack of the Arachnoid".
Only a few writers respected the Scorpion, and that's a shame, a stronger arachnid to be a threat to another arachnid is a very good idea.

Love Scorpio! and like Spider said quite possibly my favorite Spiderman Villian! love that dude and then they had to change him into %^&* VENOM!!
he should be one of spidey's greatest foes and the just keep dumping on him, but regardless i LOVE THAT DUDE!! Only i never understood how his mask could have a mouth?

Gargan is an idiot... But still there is potential there, and if you think about it, he's kinda been given a raw deal since the giddy-up. He's no mastermind, but brutal and cruel, and that's not a bad starting place as a villain. Also, I know I'm gonna get rapped on the mouth for this but... I dug him as Venom. It made a certain kind of sense to me, and frankly (sorry to his fans out there) but Brock is just uninteresting to me (Venom in general is uninteresting to me, even visually) and I can see the merge with Gargan being a better fit actually. That said, I think if ever there was a villain that needed to up his game it's Gargan, and THAT would be cool to see. Imagine him really taking stock and taking time to make himself an overwhelming threat to Peter? From his costume, to learning how to fight, to maybe getting some scientific acumen, he's got no where to go but up. Have we ever learned much about Scorpion's background? Family life, ect?

Gargan is an idiot...

Which is a shame, really, some private detective earning $10,000 from skinflint Jameson for a job as simple as finding the secret of a teenager with great skill at finding great shots from great angles of a high rising freak shouldn't be an idiot.

Also, I know I'm gonna get rapped on the mouth for this but... I dug him as Venom. It made a certain kind of sense to me, and frankly (sorry to his fans out there) but Brock is just uninteresting to me (Venom in general is uninteresting to me, even visually) and I can see the merge with Gargan being a better fit actually.

I like that as Venom he toke the shape of black suited Spider-Man, and the public ate the idea of him being the decent Spider-Man.

That never made any sense to me. The costume was always just an outer shell. Where the hell did the people go to digest.....into the human hosts stomach? He would swallow people whole. I try not to take comics too serious for obvious reasons but that one is a little too hard to ignore....

Angel -- Great character. Love the Archangel aspect. Hate the current amnesiac phase.

D-whatever -- I think I saw that bit with Cyclops when he wasn't with the x-men, but I'm gonna go with I got nothing.

Scorpion -- Only have experience with him in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, I liked him. Solid villain.
