State Your Opinion on a Character!!!! (Reboot) - Part 7

YELENA BELOVA

Huh. Didn't know she showed up in the animated series.

I love to hate her. In my mind, Natasha is the only Black Widow.

Don't have much of an opinion of either since I don't know much about them.

All I know about BW is that she's not Natasha and she go BBQ'd by Sauron.

Wait...

The Alan Quartermain? The one from all those pulp novels?

If so we need to get C Lee in here. I'm pretty sure he's a fan.

Clay's bro. Honestly... Kind of existed just so David could make that joke. As far as I can remember he was in that one Hulk story with, I think Man-Bull and that was it, right?

Pretty much.
I love how Rick and... forgot who else looked with shock once they heard Clay say his brother's name is Alan.

I like Slyde as he's one of those bad guys that exist to make fun of.

Is he the founder of my hometown?

He's with a 'K', and it's not because he took Mortal Kombat for influence.

The last character you posted I recognize (besides the cartoon I haven't seen) is Yelena Belova. Maybe a quick summary of who these people even are?

KRYPTON aptly explained Alan Quartermain, who is named after the pulp adventure character.

Slyde is a D rank Spider-Man villain from the 80s, a former N.A.S.A. scientist who got fired, and made surfaces that don't let anything stick to them. If you watched the 60s cartoon episode 'The Slippery Doctor Von Schlick' you'll probably notice the resemblance.

Phantom 2040 is Kit Walker of that time, made up for that 90s cartoon with the same name.

Richard Rory is a friend of Man-Thing, and he had a crush on Jennifer Walters, he also dated her. A DJ with a lot of down time.

Lou Monkton was a client of Jennifer Walters before her She-Hulk identity went public.

Mark Raxton/The Molten Man had cold molten metal attached to his skin, and was cured by Harry Osborn.

Martin Soap is from the anti-Punisher task force, and he's an ally of Frank.

Black Racer is not black in skin, she's a fast member of Madam Viper's organization; The Serpent Society.
