THE INCREDIBLE HULK
The Movie

I liked it. Obviously, it's not Marvel's best, but I found it entertaining throughout and it had a good dynamic.

Been too long since I've seen it. But now that Hurt is coming back as Ross, they need to give Abomination a come back, too.

i liked it too! like Mike said it wasnt Marvel best.. but certianly not the worst!! there was some elements that i really dug like the sonic cannons scene.. that was some good comic book stuff right there! i like it!

I'll take the heat on this... I didn't love THE FIRST AVENGER. (ducks rotten food and large stones)
okay! you are banished to the cornfield to read Richie rich comics and the misadventures of his dog dollar until your penance is up!:argh:... hand me your comic book nerd card and also your "agonizer"!

may you live long and prosper!!

Han Solo. Captain of the Millennium Falcon. Cooler words have never been spoken by this brash, roguish, scoundrel, of a character back when I first glimpsed Star Wars for the first time!!! The character just oozes coolness with the way he conducts himself among the galaxy, a sweet ride with the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, his trusty blaster at his side, & of course his ever loyal, trusty, companion, Chewbacca!!!

How can you not love Han Solo? 1. Harrison Ford. 2. The most fun characters to come out of Star Wars. 3. Harrison Ford.

Hey Fox, nice of you to join. :)
But I decide what character (or story) we discuss, that's how we play this game.

I saw it this way in a 70s comic, I think.
Maybe my mind melded both ways.

i digs some Natasha!dug he during the spy days, the team up with daredevil days, the leader of " The Champions" days( damn! do i miss that book!she made a good leader too!) and the Scarlett Johansen days too!BW is cool!

I love Tasha. When I was in my early teens she was one of my biggest fantasy crushes. It's probably that Russian origin and me being a Reagan era kid. It gave her a bit of that "forbidden fruit" thing. Even without that... Widow is just super cool. She's a sort of super Bond chick times ten. The recent additions to her back story have rounded her out and given us a new mythology within the Marvel U. (the Red Room, ect.).

ScarJo of course has taken the character into the stratosphere, but I wonder if this is a long term situation, or if she will fade back into secondary or tertiary level when ScarJo leaves the character behind? I myself am surprised at how well I enjoy her in the part of Black Widow, given that I frankly, was never wowed by her as an actress, though I think she has gotten better, and is a good Widow for the MCU.

I hate Ultimate Goblin. Just a Hulk ripoff. Classic Gobs is way better.

Comparing him to the Hulk is a little unfair. He's big and green. But with Hulk, he has more humanoid features in his face, Ultimate Goblin clearly looks more monsterous in his face. And Norman doesn't get stronger with his anger and his whole schtick is his fire powers. He visually looks more like Abomination than Hulk.

I used Etrigan in the DC thread -image thankfully provided by KRYPTON INC.- and this guy here cause they actually do bear a strong resemblance I tried not to give into.
Both this guy and Abo-bo are fin heads, but beside that and being green, similarity points end.

I kind of missed a lot, hunh? :p

Ult GG annoys me. Never really liked him. The death of Spider-man was decent but apparently Pete wasn't dead after all and ignored for some reason during Spider-verse.

I enjoyed the idea that Ultimate Norman believed that he basically owned Peter, since it was his Oz drugs that gave him his powers.

That was interesting and I'm sure 616 Normie would have done the same if he could. As it was, for a long time he had the "I think of you like a son but I'm going to eat your ****ing heart" thing going on. The 90's were a weird time for Spider-Man.

I ound they lost direction with Ult Normie after a while. They just had him keep circling the same thing. Speaking of which, is Ult Harry still dead?
