It's the only Cap I'm aware of that was Steve Rogers and a mutant.

STEPHEN "SLAPSTICK" HARMON

Never read the series but it gave off a less than interesting vibe to me, plus this looks to be like a re-boot of the character and it's much more IT than Marvel Comic from the 90's to me.

I don't know who the Slapstick person is but that art is terrifying.

Never read anything with Miles so... No opinion.

I like her. She was a good contrast with his dad. When she died, it was genuinely sad. Now that she's back alive, who knows? ;)

Never read anything on Miles, no opinion.

I vaguely remember her but she didn't leave much of an impression.

While I thought her death was well done, I hated that they killed her to begin with. We really have far too few superheores that keep both parental figures in their lives. Every big superhero has lost one or both parents (the Flash, Superman, Peter Parker, Batman, Hal Jordan, Iron Man, the Hulk, etc...), usually through some tragic means, that whenever we can get a character who is actively superheroing and actually have their parents in tact, that's a dynamic I'd like to see.

It felt like killing Rio off was just so that Miles could have more in common with Peter. I didn't like that. Let Miles be Miles, and Peter be Peter, dammit. Plus, Rio was a nice character that I would have loved to see explore more (especially since she apparently knew Miles was Spider-Man), while the dad Jefferson was always meh to me. Neither needed to die, but if I had to kill one off, kill the meh father and keep the mother.

Lastly, not to sound like I care about race quotas, but we could always use more Hispanic characters, even the small roles supporting ones. So I'm glad Rio is alive again 'cause comics.

Whoah. What the bloody heck happened to Slapstick?!? :wow:

Never read much of USM, so can't really say much on Miles' Mom.

The way I see it, if you're gonna build yourself a high-tech suit for undersea research and exploration, why not do it with some style?!

You know, I think I remember Stingray. I'm just not sure from where. It might have been the 90s Iron Man cartoon, though.

Never read much about Stingray. I love the idea of a guy making a Super suit fpr work then thinking "**** it. Let's go superhero in my spare time."

I remember Stingray was on a Wizard Magazine list of characters who could be easily elevated to A-list status, but as far as I know he never was. At best he was a B-list Avenger who's biggest contribution was letting them use his island base as a headquarters for a while. But the idea of an super-hero who's also an oceanographer is cool.

Poor Agatha. A cool character who became a casualty of Bendis' sweeping retcons. But yeah, liked her.

yeah thats pretty much why i dig him him too! Plus that outfit is SWEEEEEETTT!! dude should definitely be a bigger hero than he is! I DIGS STINGRAY!!

Agatha- eh! she's a creepy old witch lady.... and for the life of me i never understood why Reed and Sue would leave their kids with a nanny who draws pentagrams and be summoning demons and ^&*!! and that dude is suppose to be smart!!

You know, with Namor dead, it's up to Stingray to protect the seas alone. His time is now, Marvel! Make it happen!
