What you have to understand about Captain Marvel comics is, when done right, they are absolutely, completely, totally bat-**** insane. I think the comics industry actually needs a superhero book where there is nothing that is too off the wall or wacky for it, but there's no one in the industry today capable of that sort of originality and imagination. The Marvel Family aren't meant to be used in straight superhero stories.

I've always figured if there was anybody that could take Capn' Marv back to his roots successfully, it'd be Morrison......but there's just one of him.

Supposedly we'll get a look at that in Multiversity.....assuming that s**t ever actually gets made that is.

Honestly Captain Marvel seems more of a fit for Morrison than Batman does, but DC's not really in a position to say "Oi! Morrison! You're doing this!"

I'd love it if someone got the magic wing of DC's trinity (repped by Wonder Woman, but with Cap Marvel, Fate, Zatanna, etc all a part) all in sync, back on track and relevant to the DC Universe at large.

that last crisis and Batman. Morrison should leave alone, his mind is so non linear that regular superheroes, i dont think he should be doing! taking obscure ones and revamping cool, but playing within the parameters of established ones, just dont fit him in my opinion. even when he Justice league it was great but some of the strories were just so wild!
