Who???The LSV sucked biscuits!( all except Radioactive Roy!:cwink:)

He's a good villain, the best thing is his powers are different from Cosmic Boy's, similar to Firestorm's actually.

Yeah, another reason why that Superman/Batman story by Loeb kinda sucked. They thought he had magnetic powers like Cos. :o

Lightning Lord had a male lover as well.

Did not know that but thats :awesome: sauce

Anyway.

Electric Tears.

Cosmic King

He's a pretty good villain

I dig his outfit

Hmmm, well, I guess the opinions on the next one will be pretty predictable.

In his spare time, Cos King enjoys playing with his space dog, long walks, and squishing peoples heads.

Saturn Queen

Apparently she's only evil because of a brain cloud.....yeah.

Whut

Despite or perhaps because of her ridiculous origin i loves me some Saturn Queen. She's hawt evil and has a very dominant personality that I be finding sexy

I never really liked the Legion of Super Villains. Changing part of the major Legionnaires' names isn't really a good way to come up with villains, as far as I'm concerned.

They all suck compared to their younger counterparts. Granted I know far more about their younger counterparts than I do Lord, King, & Queen.

She is incredibly evil and always has been. Just like how Saturn Girl broke barriers for superheroines, Saturn Queen broke barriers for supervillainesses, along with the insanely cool and hot Emerald Empress.

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me about them mofos.

They be bad ass 'Nubs

I loves how gloriously twisted she is it makes her a great villainess

Moving on.

Well this was a waste of 3 days. :o

Zauriel

Zauriel does nothing for me personally. Back in the glory days of Morrison's JLA, I'd read it and be like this:

until a Zauriel bit, at which point I'd be like this:

Guy's just a total chore.

I love Zauriel. His later appearances didn't really live up to the promise of his first arc, though. Once he left Heaven behind and got his spiffy armor, he more or less became just another superhero. The fact that the woman he left Heaven for had already gotten married was a nice, tragic twist, though.

Meh to the mehest. I want the real thing, not a faux Hawkman. Blame that whole thing on the debacle that is COIE and how they ruined the Hawks.

I never saw Zauriel as a replacement for Hawkman. I saw him as an extension of the Spectre and the Demon and that whole subset of characters through which DC has explored Abrahamic religion within its universe. That's why he interested me. Marvel's tended to shy away from straight-up admitting that in their universe God exists and the structure of reality is much like what the Bible says, but DC jumped right in feet-first with characters like the Spectre and Zauriel and Asmodel, and it made for interesting reading.

The character only existed because they ruined the Hawks, though...which they tend to excel at.

I like Zauriel overall. I love how he got kicked out of church once.

Yeah, I tend to hold peoples own against them. :o

I dig Zauriel. The more I read into the character/found out about him, the more I thought of the potential that could be done with him. (straight-up superhero/ religious aspect/ supernatural possibilities, etc.) Kinda hard not to like a character when you know the creators can go in different routes with him and it would still fit the concept of the character and would also be a cool read...

Sad thing is they never really did anything with him.

Lots of potential. And I don't know where this Hawkman boos**t is coming from. The only thing they have in common is wings. That is one hell of a leap.

Next thing you'll tell me Silver Swan is a Hawkgirl ripoff. :o

Yes. It was.

But to each his own. (But if your own is awesome, then you'll have liked Morrison's run. :argh:)

I never read anything from it. If this was during the Electric Superman Red/Blue version era, that's probably why.
