Wildcat is just all kinds of great, he's translated better into modern comics than some of the other JSA guys.

I think Wildcat is okay. Kinda like Thing he's easy to like, but I feel that whole "never give up" thing gets overplayed sometimes. I'd hang out with him and break dance though. I'm sure he'd be down for some of that.

There is no JSA without Wildcat. 'Nuff said. He, Alan Scott, and Jay Garrick are a much cooler Trinity than the forced Trinity of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

I wasn't aware that Clark, Bruce and Diana were a forced Trinity.

I feel that Diana is forced as being part of the Trinity. Always have. I like the character and the new WW book is one of my favorite of the New 52, but she has always been forced as being important for simply being the first female superhero.

WW is part of the DC trinity because she is not just the first major superheroine, but because she is the best, and the most iconic. And the three of them being on SuperFriends didn't hurt either.

The real JSA trinity was actually Flash, Green Lantern and Hawkman. Hawkman was in every issue of All-Star Comics, not even Flash and GL were, and Wildcat was only in 2 Golden Age JSA stories. Wildcat's great, and he needs to be there, but if they ever get the JSA right again it will be with Hawkman as the chairman.

I god damn love Wesley Dodds. Easily one of my favorite DC characters. I like the concept of the quiet nerd with great detective skills and a hero complex. I think he's probably one of the best arguments in favor of the JSA being precursors to Superman and Batman, since he works really well as a pulpy pro to-super hero who came before everyone else.

WW is part of the DC trinity because she is not just the first major superheroine, but because she is the best, and the most iconic. And the three of them being on SuperFriends didn't hurt either.

The real JSA trinity was actually Flash, Green Lantern and Hawkman. Hawkman was in every issue of All-Star Comics, not even Flash and GL were, and Wildcat was only in 2 Golden Age JSA stories. They do have a good chemistry, but the main reason for Hawkman's absence is the JSA has mostly been written by people (Robinson, Goyer, Johns) who don't really know much about them or about Golden Age comics in general. Roy Thomas would have never let Hawkman become a forgotten man like they did, even though Johns did bring him back.

Wes Dodds is a great character, although I think the Vertigo version is a little overrated, and the Simon and Kirby version is vastly underrated. But I do like the gasmask/fedora version better.

I Wesley. He's probably my favourite of the golden age heroes and he's just a really neat character. Wish they hadn't killed him off but maybe he'll be back in the new DCU

Don't know if I would personally call her the best superheroine but she is and I loves her

The Royal Flush Gang: One of those great stock villains. Nice idea, nice visuals. I like 'em!

Wildcat: One of my favourite JSA'ers. Ted's just great. Like, how could anybody NOT dig him?

Sandman: Sandman Mystery Theatre is the most under-rated book of the 90's and one of my all-time favourites. Just beautifully paced, characterised mystery stories. Why Dodds' Sandman is not much more mainstream is completely beyond me.

Wesley Dodds is cool. Sandman Mystery Theatre is such a great book. Though I kind of have to disagree with Kurosawa in that I don't think the Simon/Kirby Sandman run is underrated. I don't really like it. I mean, it's fun and entertaining but it's pretty much the same thing as Captain America or Fighting American. The 70's Sandman that Kirby and Simon created though...that was awesome.

Little known fact: Terry was great at nearly everything, but alas, fashion was not on his resume.

There was a JSA issue that was a WWII flashback where Terry lost his **** and tried to strangle a General because he had ordered airstrikes on civilian targets, which Terry considered to be "unfair."

That was incredibly boss.

Terry is a great character and an even greater idea. Tons of potential there, and I'm glad some of it was realized through Michael Holt, but Terry himself has a lot more to offer than has been done with him as of yet. Unfortunately since he is so brilliant and such a prodigy, the best things that could be done with him involve brilliant medical breakthroughs, and because that and other stuff are positive things, there is no place for them in today's death-worshiping, miserable, grimdark comics.

I've tried to hate on Mr. T in the past, (admittedly primarily because of the horrendous costume), but he actually is pretty cool. Maybe not as cool as Sandman or Wildcat, who are both great superheros of ANY age, but cool enough for me to not mind him when he's involved in things...

Terry's cool. Johns' JSA run had a great flashback story which he was pretty fun in. But to me, Michael IS and always will be Mister terrific!

the coolest thing i am ever ready about" i pity the da fool" Mr.T was when the new one went back in time and they both beat the *&^%$ out a buncha of klu Klux Klanmen . what really made it cool was the New one was like" hi i am Mr. T from the future." unlike most heroes with that's a lie and lets fight!" i loved dude as a rational thinking man was lets ponder this out shall we?!Mann! by now,me and Superheroes fighting each other over stupid &*^% has played out! that was cool . and oh yeah! that outfit is horrendous. A 4 on the rocktor!
