Stephen King's 'Carrie' remake

Wait what? That's weird.

Yeah, at the end of The Rage: Carrie 2, the lead character, who has a small tattoo of a heart with thorns on her arm, umm... somehow manages to make the tattoo's thorns grow and cover one side of her body.

She also makes the heart actually beat at one point.

I'm going to go ahead an say that doesn't make any sense at all.

Didnt she explode a boy's testicles in that movie?

She exploded the glasses on the face of a girl, who, then, in a blinded panic, shot a spear gun through a guy's crotch. His junk floated in the pool.

God, that film is terrible.

Oh. I guess it all blurred together into one scene of horrible

Or the inexplicable return of Amy Irving. Why on earth did she agree to that movie?

I can only assume she didn't read the script either. Sue went out with such a colossal whimper.

Well after seeing the trailer again with Evil Dead in the theater tonight I can see it really doesn't impress me at all. It really gives me the vibe of just typical modern horror, as much as I like Chloe and was excited when she was cast I'm not caring for her from the trailer alone.

I guess I'll wait to see the film itself to make a full solid opinion though.

The trailer seemed to be predominantly her mother with snip bits of Carrie in it.

The film is called Carrie, the trailer shows her evolution, the narrative arc of the trailer is focused on Carrie, the dialogue is focused on Carrie, and all the scenes in the trailer involving her mother and everyone else are centered on Carrie. So I still gotta say .

I'm sure this has been brought up but i kinda doubt it would need to take a prank to get someone to ask a girl who looks like chloe moretz to the prom.

(I actually feel kinda pervy saying that, yeesh).

Dude, it's not pervy, it's the truth. Any 15-16 year old boy would fall over themselves to take a pretty girl to their school formal, crazy arse upbringing or not.

Yeah i was thinking in the mind-set of a teen boy instead of my 20 something self anyways. From what i've seen of the orginal carrie they did sort of make sissy spacek look kind of awkward and not necessarily that attractive. Chloe pretty much looks like chloe in the trailer.

Well, it's not trying to make her look like Spacek. How was she described in the book is what matters.

The boy taking Carrie to the prom was never part of the joke to begin with.

I still think the trailer doesn't give us a true look at how Chloe is an outcast and a loser.

We are all just focused on how cute she is in the trailer(and real life). Sure any 15-17 year old kid in high school would kill to take Chloe to prom. But she's still the shy awkward girl and the guys who would ask her out would be a loner or weird guy.

And the trailer would make me believe the other girls probably call her a lezbo and think she's gay. That will get you killed in high school...

I do agree that Chloe is very cute and good looking. I never thought of Carrie as a good looking girl, but performance is all I care about and Julianne looks like she's just gonna be so fun to watch acting crazy.
