She's a bit busy at the moment.
She's trying to convince the Siegel family to take the movie rights off the hands of the big conglomerate company who earned 400 million $ with their latest "failed" attempt to bring Superman to the screen, and give them instead to her husband, a 40-year old fan of Dragonball whose latest occupation is as a writer on action-figures for a website , to make a series of movies starring Tom Welling.
And in one of those movies Superman will fight Supreme.
And homosexual pedophiles, too.

LOL. how horrific. Someone get that person off the internet. :whatever:

Don't give them any ideas! :csad:
I don't know anymore than anyone else here about such things.
I will say that after keeping up with all the news about J.L. and M.O.S., and hearing more right now about M.O.S., I'd have to put my money on M.O.S. happening first if I were betting that is.

Things can and will prolly change though. Heck we could get some real news tomorrow on J.L. for all I know, saying its a go.

I honestly think that W.B. has no idea yet which one will be first.

If i'd have to bet, my money would be on Batman 3! :woot:

Neither did I. Her crap or Uncle Bingo's, or Darth Natha's and/or any other "in the know" person on the internet. With some exceptions, of course.

I am suprised that anybody believed a lot of what is said.

Heh, your prolly right. That'd be the safest bet all around.
Yeah, it most likely is. Personally, i couldn't care less about more Batman movies. Don't get me wrong, i love Batman, but i've seen good Batman movies, okay Batman movies and really bad Batman movies. To me, that's enough for the next few years. But the Justice League was always my favorite thing about the DCU and i always thought the logical thing after Superman and Batman is to go with the League. That's what i did with the comics, that's what they did with the cartoon and i think that's what they should do with the movies too. And as for the M.O.S., even through there are a lot of Superman movies already, i'd love to finally see the perfect flick about the greatest of all Superheroes. Yeah, Superman I and II were good and all, but that was thirty years ago and just not the Superman i grew up with. Anyway, after seeing how much Singer got wrong about the character, i'm not interested at all in seeing him do a sequel and try to clean up his mess. Especially since the only mistake he seems to admit is the lack of action and to me "Superman Returns + more action" won't be any better than SR was. So yeah, my only hope that we won't be stuck with nothing else than more nice Batman movies and failed attemps to get other solo-movies off the ground for the next years is this League movie. Frankly, i'm sure that, after all the failed attempts to get Superman back on the big screen, WB won't try the JLA again in the next twentie years, if this production fails now. But anyway, since Miller is still fighting for the tax break in austrilia, i guess it's save to say that WB is at least still interested in doing this movie, which at least leaves hope for a longtime Justice League fan like myself...

When I first went to the boards over on IESB last year she sounded like she was in the know, even robert said he heard some of what she was saying.
Then things started going downhill with her info big time, so I stopped going there.

I'd rather have J.L. first *IF* its done right. That for me means a cast that not only looks the part but is mature looking as well. Plus lots of action, and a good story.
The casting is my main concern right now, I dont want a Batman that is several inches taller than Superman.

Don't forget "Lady M". :woot: ...

I think Robert's source was Jayne...

I don't know. IESB is often (not always) reliable in their scoop and I don't think they only have one source for project.
And I wouldn't discard the idea that maybe Emi knows someone at WB, but it's probably a delivery boy or someone very low in the company.

It was, thats when I left that whole mess of a train wreck.:woot:

I think in that instance, Jayne might have been one of Robert's major sources.

Her husband has some connections.

It wouldn't surprise me, seeing how we got that "Tom Welling is teh Supermanz!!1" **exclusive** that no other credible source would report on. :whatever:

I don't remember any other website reporting Welling besides those two and MSN before that.

The real life height of the actors who are supposed to play Batman and Superman make you think that this isn't done right? Come one, that won't decide if this movie is gonna be good or not...

Man, he'd have been a great Alfred, better than Michael Caine. I hope he still gets the part.

Michael Caine is to Alfred what Jack Nicholson is to the Joker, he's the same guy in every movie, not that that's a bad thing all the time.

I think that Tobolowsky would make a great comic book style Alfred.

No, of course not. But if they're going to cast actors on the less experienced side, they should at least find actors who look spot on. A production like this should have the pick of the litter anyway. A smaller actor for Superman is kind of laughable especially when Miller approaches the characters as being like "Greek Gods". It's about making a conscious effort at sticking to the source material. I wouldn't want to see a 5'9" Abraham Lincoln, or a 6'3" Napoleon either.

I think in the end the only thing that really matters is how they're gonna look on the screen. Just because Cotrona is 5'9 in real life dosn't mean he will be as in the movie too. If you ask me, the most important thing is that you get unknowns can who can act the parts. Don't know if this is the case with DJ, but if he gave the best performance out of all actors they tested, i don't care about his height...

I wouldn't get to upset over Tobolowsky's comments about two months off for a script. Remember, Variety said the draft was expected to come in around six weeks and that was at the end of Feb. I still think that is the case and really don't see a MOS moving ahead of JLA.
In regards to Emi and her husband, I think they officially "jumped the shark" for me with trying to get the rights to a Superman movie. I mean they are serious and act like it's really going to happen. At this point it became very evident something was off, at least to me. Many others have discounted what they have said for awhile, however I enjoyed the conversations. Big points were lost for me when she was SURE JLA was not being delayed then of course, it was. Then she has stated for a year that "Singer is gone for sure" only to learn he still has a chance to direct. Looks like I may be posting alot more over here in regards to JLA.
