Still hyped up?

I dont want to sound like a jerk, but I am going to be honest. I have looked forward to Ghost rider movie for MANY years now. I must say they made a mistake by pushing it to Feb 07! They have to compete with Transformers, Spidey 3, and FF2. Im actually looking forward to transformer MORE! Don't get me wrong..I am still excited to see it, and cage is one of my fav actors. Just having strange doubts all the sudden. Dont know really why..

Maybe its because so many are coming out next year and my hype for ghost rider is getting old? I dont know....just sharing my thoughts

give it time. once february comes along you'll get the tingling in your spine which can only be caused by the release of this movie.
personally, i'm envious you get to see it in feb. here in australia i have to wait til march 22!!!!

To answer your question though: HELL YES, I'M STILL HYPED!

After a disappointing run of summer movies, I'm even more desperate for it, and the other movies you mentioned. 2008 is getting a killer line-up of escapist/comic action flicks and I plan on seeing them all. Ghost Rider will be the first and kick it off in fine style.

Are you mad??? OF COURSE IM STILL HYPED!!! Ghost Rider is going to be the first film i see in 2007 (i have to wait until March 16th), so it will kick of the 2007 lineup in a fantastic way.

GR is the only movie for me in 07...everything else is just icing on the cake. if i never see Spider Man, Transformers its no big deal...can easily catch em on dvd if i have to.
the hype for the movie wont really build until maybe a month or 2 before it opens...if Sony promotes it correctly. just wait until then...

I dont care about transformer's. The main movies i want to see in 2007 are:

Ghost Rider
Pirates of the Carribean 3
Spiderman 3


Movies which i will see if i get around to but not hyped are:

Harry Potter 5

I am so disappointed with this movie. granted the trailer came out early, so it may not be finished but everything looks so fake and animated. The helicopters are so fake, and the stands full of people that don't move (and are the same 8 models) is a joke. Nic Cage was most likely the biggest mistake, he doesn't care what superhero movie he's in just as long as he's in one (he read for every single one so far). It is just way too cartoony for my taste. but have to see what ends up on screen. But the way Marvel has been bombing lately I won't get my hopes up

Yeah, I'm sure Nic Cage is just in this to be in a superhero movie. He doesnt really like the character or anything. That's why they had to cover up the big tattoo of Ghost Rider on his shoulder for his shirtless scene, cause he knows nothing of the character and has never read it or anything. Yeah, you've really got it there. *****e bag.

I'm as pumped for Ghost Rider as I've ever been. I check out the trailer a few times a week. Still looking at the "unreleased footage that no man should have seen!"

hey Joker... why act like I just kicked your dog? The question was put forth if I was still psyched... well I answered. and just because he has a tattoo? Shaq has the Superman "S" on his arm and was he able to pull of the STEEL movie? Just because a guy has a tattoo doesn't make him an expert. If you get one of an eagle can does that make you fly?

I know what I'm talking about. I know movies, I know that FX won't save movies but it will kill them. I am not excited as I once was... I could be proven wrong or I could be dead on right. And truthfully, it is a tough character to pull off without looking animated. I will have to see but I won't be standing in line to see it. If you want to by all means and I hope you enjoy it. But if I don't its not a personal attack against you so lighten up

You came onto a Ghost Rider message board, bashed the trailer, and the star, and didn't expect to be flamed. Yeah, that'll happen. Oh yeah, by the way, Cage has only ever read for 2 super hero movies, this, and Superman. Superman he would have been totally wrong for, he's just not big enough. But he's a hell of an actor, and when it comes to playing a bad ass like Johnny Blaze, he's even better. And with the whole Shaq thing, are you actually comparing Shaq to Nic Cage? The best movie Shaq ever did was probably Kazam, in which he played a RAPPING GENIE. Have you ever seen a Nicolas Cage movie? And you're saying he has as much acting skills as a half-******ed baskteball player?

I agree that the FX look sub-par, but you have to remember, the movie is still half a year away, and was more like 9 months when the trailer came out. With the budget this movie has, and the time they have, they should easily be able to vastly improve them by then. And the fact that you say you "know movies" makes your opinion so much more valid to me, and I no longer think you're nothing but a troll anymore

Actually the flaming skull looks great. That's tough to pull off. and Nic cage is not as bankable as he used to be... Captain Corelli's mandolin National Treasure? Family Man? Adaptatoin was brilliantly done though, Nic cage is a decent actor but he plays the SAME person all the time. The same droopy eyed character. But that's OK too, because usually thats what the script calls for. Nic cage has read or tried to get a part for nearly EVERY Superhero movie... Spider-Man, Daredevil, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, FF, DR. Strange, X-Men Werewolf by Night just to name a few. I know because I was privy for some of them. He is so into comics that he even took the name CAGE for cying out loud. Sometimes fanboys don't make the best choices... but he may pull it off . You may jump on these boards and make me eat my words but only time will tell.

i just bought Silent Hill on DVD and had a huge showing with my family and then one with my friends....all EVERYONE could talk about after the movie was the Ghost Rider trailer that was attached to it.....now i have people left n right asking me when it comes out. People at my job have been asking me all about it, people who have never heard of The Rider, and also fans of him as well. People are really hyped about this movie, and it hypes me even more that so many others can't wait for it too

Im glad some ppl are hyped besides fans, I had my doubts when I saw a trailer for it attached to X3. People in the audience were talking about how stupid it looked. What idiots
