Still Scared

Dead bodies ........ I accidently walked into a morgue when i was younger and saw a kid on the table. I went to a few wakes for relatives and that made me uneasy. I was also In Iraq for 15 months and watched people die. There is just something about a dead body that really freaks me out.
my friends dad is some nature conservist guy, and he was doing some work in a gorge not far from us and as he's walking down the river he see's something hanging from a tree, so he goes a bit closer and realizes its a guy who hung himself. he went over to check if he was still alive and everything, because well it would suck if he could have saved him but left instead right. seriously though if i was in his place i would have like ran away, i hate dead things.

The Puppet Crypt Keeper.

The toxic avenger. My mom rented it for me and my brother when I was 3, because she knew I liked super hero stuff and just looked at the cover and didn't bother reading it lol But yeah made it up tot he part where he turns and then ran out of the room screaming. Have yet to watch it since

Dude that thing scares the hell out of me, I just shivered when I scrolled down. I remember when I was young I was exploring my shelves downstairs and saw a mask like that. I remember running scared to my room. And than the next morning I woke up and saw my brother wearing the mask looking down at me, creeeepy as hell.

My dad always used to watch The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby. I used to be afraid of the Hulk and Dad would always laugh at me.

My cousin used to be scared of Chewbacca.

Edward Scissorhands. :(

(Edward Voice) "Yes.......?"

I'm afraid of any sort of bug...make it a fly or a moth. I will literly cry if I touch one or if I can hear it.....hc9irjvoe3fmj3w...it gives me shivers....

People walking behind me.

It's not a phobia, just scares the **** out of me.

school shootings, i was in 6th grade when Columbine happened and it scared the hell out of me. and then now VT happens and it brought back those same feelings again. i dont think im necessarily scared of this all the time or anything, but definitely dont like to read about it happening. and i know ive got nothing compared to people who survived a shooting.

Snakes are the big thing for me. I'm cool if they're in a cage, but take it out and I'll stay on the other side of the room, till it's back in the cage. Just don't like 'em.

Oceans in general, just a little uneasy in them, always feel like I'm gonna piss off the wrong fish by accident, plus not a fan of salt water. Would much rather just go swimming in a pool, let the fish have their ocean.

Is there something that scared you or freaked you out as a kid that you haven't completely gotten over as an adult?

When I was 7 years old, I was stung by over 50 bees. My parents had taken us on a picnic on base (my Dad was in the Air Force). Being that it was summer, and there were sprinklers around, all the kids were running around in nothing but shorts and just having a good time. There was a tree log off to the side of the field that I decided, for whatever reason, I'd run across. It was just a simple log laying in the grass. About halfway across the log, I started to hear a loud cadence of buzzing. About 2 seconds after that I was running for my life.

By the time my parents got me to the hospital, I was in convulsions and excruciating pain. However, they had managed to pull all of the stingers out of me (some in places you don't want to imagine) and cover each in mud during the trip. I stayed in the hospital overnight for 'observation' after the initial symptoms and shock.

To this day, I absolutely fear bees. Not to the point that I run, but to the point that I will go out of my way to kill them.

2 things:

1) Dark Garages
when i was little, i walked out into our garage at night, I didnt turn on the light, and when i was on my way back into the house, I swear i saw a giant face floating at me. Weird, i know, but i still won't go into garages with no lights on, which sucks because our lights burned out in our garage.

2) Stairs that have the open backs
Im talking about stairs where someone can stand behind them and reach and grab your legs when you are walking down. I forgot what movie it was, but someone walked down these stairs and got the back of his feet cut for his troubles. I wont go down them, but if i do, i go as fast as i can... no half ass horror walking down stairs for me.

I am not horribly scared of the ocean or lakes but I have an innate fear that something will bite me or eat me. I don't mind swimming in the shallows at the beach but I would never jump off a boat in the middle of the ocean and swim around:o You never really know what is underneath you and that to me in unnerving.

Needles. I used to hate them back when I associated them with the shots to the butt my pediatrician gave me. Now, I get a kick out of watching them take blood tests and finding out what happens to the sample.

I'm uneasy with heights idk why but I get nervous around them as for something else I'd have to say oh I know! I get really paranoid going to my car at night. There was this twilight zone (or some scifi show) where this lady bought a car and it had a ghost in it and like just people hiding in the back or someone just coming and attacking me scares me. Also when it's dark out I get nervous around mirrors or windows. I always get nervous about Bloody Mary

Thriller.

I first saw that video when I was 3 years old and it scared the crap out of me. To this day I still can't completely watch it, it still freaks me out. There are parts I can watch, but just the parts where Michael is himself and not a werewolf or a zombie.

The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth both freaked me out. Those muppets were scary. :(
