Comics Storm VS Rogue

It seems to me like their power would clash.
And no Storm can't control plasma.
I really wish a comic guru would come in here and correct some of the theories. I do not think Storm would have an easy time taking Rogue out. It would take much more then all this "air" talk to take her out.

Another interesting way is to create a STRONG updraft right underneath Rogue which would bring her in the upper atmosphere where strom could hit her with a MYRIAD of lightining bolts(not the bio ones, the real powerful ones) thus she's be fried to death--almost unrecognizable really.--Probably wouldn't even have any BONES left.

Instead of playing around with Rogue like she did with this guy, she could just strike her NUMEROUS times with lighting. If she can make faces in the clouds to make a monster's face AND minipulate the lighting to make glowing eyes, Im sure she can control the voltage as well.

I agree with you, it is an opinion but I don't agree when people say Rogue CANT beat Storm. As if she has no possibility of winning.

To restate my my words:

Of course she has a chance but it's nowhere as large as the one Storm has against her, IMO. Thus she loses. Period.

Just because she has a smaller chance, doesnt mean she can't win.
So it's safe to say that Leach can kill the infamous weather Goddess since he can void out anyones powers

What does Leach have to do with anything? And know he can't just kill her. If she kept a distance from him she could still use her powers. And besides even if she did loose her powers and she was near him, you think a little kid can beat a woman who has been trained in combat? Xmen aren't idiots with powers.

Someone once stated that just because a mutant is more powerful (Omega) doesn't always mean they can beat a mutant under their level.
There are many specifications that need to be explained in this topic since there have been posts stating wikepedia isn't reliable.
I need more info on Sunfire and Electromagnetic energy.

Listen, I never said Rogue loses because she has a southern accent or thinks he is HBIC(Head B*tch In Charge). In fact I never talk down to your fav. character. I just feel that her winning against Storm is pretty small compared to Storm winning against her. What you should have asked people is in a 10 round fight who wins more. Something like that instead of "who wins in all out fight"? Then I would still say Storm wins: 8/10. Period.

Jeez, in your opening statement to noted that Storm can't lower temps. below zero. Which is not true..but yeah.

thats the thing....... HE CANT. i have looked on marvel.com and it says he can but members can add on. im not saying that he cant but there needs to be comic scans. we know what storm can do what she does cuz she does things like that all the time or recently. wikipedia article of rouge as sunfire looks similar to the one on marveldirectory.com. another site is mutanthigh.com if u want to see what he does on other sites.

I think the whole EM energy absorbtion thing is being blown out of porportion. He/She cant absorb it like Bishop can absorb energy. He absorbs energy like Havok and Cyclops do(automatically and all the time) Cyke and Havok absorb solar energy all the time, but if you shot them with solar powered energy(like Sunspot) they wouldn't absorb it. This is the same for Sunfire/Rogue. The absorbtion of EM energy is just a way that he/she fuels their power. Its not a direct-you shoot me-I absorb, kind of absorbtion. You guys are thinking like Bishop. Its not like that

not true. i dont even have a credit card and even if i did it would not be expired. storm would not let that happen and probably rouge wouldnt do it cuz she already has one person plus hers so why would u want 2. and not to be all fanatic of storm but her powers are tied to emotion which is hard for rouge cuz she got the southern belle, then fiery japanese who still hates the us for ww ii then the goddess

Yes..."IF" she touches Storm. Is Rogue faster than lightning? Or top notch hurricane force winds? Lets not forget that Storm has summoned weather from other planets...which is triple deadly on earth. Anywaywho, it somewhat comes down to who's faster. Storm has shown to travel at speeds that even a radar couldn't keep up with. In my offense, I don't think Rogue could win. She has somewhat of a little somethin' somethin' with her, but Storm wins overall. She has too many powers at her disposal. And Weather God, I think what they were saying about the "heat wave" thing is that Rogue is immune to it...isn't she?

that just shows u how interesting storm is and what her powers can do. or storm fans who love her more than food itself might mention her too mush. dont get me wrong, i am a storm fan to the fullest but i dont put things that have to do with storm every where or use her phrases like some people. and thanks for the clearfacation
