I doubt they would give Namor an ongoing. I don't know what the sales are like on this mini-series, but I don't think they're spectacular enough that Marvel would take a character who's had several failed ongoing series over the years and think, "Hey, he'd be great for yet another ongoing series!"

Of course, if it were up to me, Brian K. Vaughan would be writing a Defenders series with Namor, Dr. Strange, the Silver Surfer, and Valkyrie, with the Hulk rejoining whenever his hissy fit is over.

Nah, Giffen should be doing a Defenders book. All BKV needs to do is get to work on a Strange ongoing.
