I have a question regarding the editor thing, bracket things showing up like and

it's the regular font how it is as instead of having those wrapped around the text. Why does this only work on FireFox and is there any way to make it work for Internet Explorer or Chrome?​

Like, on Firefox, to the right there was a button you could click right?
Then say you chose to type in red font.
You click the red font and instead of the color code being around the text, the text just came out as red as you typed it.

That's because you are using "Enhanced Interface" on FireFox. If you use this on another browser it would be the same thing. You can switch on the top right to switch modes. Or you go to edit options as per:
